[CP] Thanks for the Fish (Day 1539)

The last two plus weeks of my Presidency did not live up to the standard that I set for myself and the standard that I campaigned on. For that, I truly apologize to my supporters. No sense in feeding the trolls by rehashing the explanation why, let’s just say that I have no regrets about the decision.

I’ve had time to clear my head the past few weeks, and I’m not going to completely quit the game as I had originally intended. I will not join nor will I be active on any party forums though.

I’ll be taking up US citizenship very shortly. Full economic bonuses will provide me the best return on my einvestment and at this juncture, it is all about game-play for me. I will role play as much as in-game mechanics permit, so I’ll be pulling for admin to develop more facets of the game in that regard but I won’t hold my breath.

To you from failing hands I throw the torch, be yours and hold it high. I wish Kronos Q all the best as CP this month, he had my vote yesterday. I am available for help if needed.

I have a handful more of thank-yous before I change citizenship. Note that I will be dropping names in these thank-yous and it may be confusing because some people are no longer in these groups, or not even alive. I got to know them through these groups and that is why they are mentioned there.

The first will be to the Canadian Progressive Front. The CFP is the root of my epolitical career and I want to show my gratitude for their support over the years with a donation of 10,000 Q3 food (60,000 health worth) that they can use for whatever they wish. From TFD, to Wilhelm, to Alaricus, to SaraDroz, to Acacia Mason, to Anomie, to James McNamara, to Funky Hum24n, to Kazuo Leblanc, to Aeriala, the CPF has always been top notch in my books and full of #winning and I hope this gesture provides the party with a way to advance their mandate.

The second is to The Crimson Order. Bruck’s Canucks was the first group that “engaged” me with this game. Until I joined BC, I was a passenger in this game and just clicking time away. Bruck’s Canucks provided me with epurpose and really started wasting my time. Bruck, Ralph de Ver, Rylde, Alias Vision, Cypher Rahl, only_atoms, TemujinBC, crisfire, JRC and Homer J Simpson all stick out in my mind as ardent supporters through thick and thin. As a thank you to them, I will be donating 1,500 Q5 tanks to them to do with as they please.

Third, the Captains of Industry. The core members of COI are also core members of MOO, so the spirit of MOO is very much alive. MOO was a policy party, built on values, and these values permeate COI. Solid citizens like Acacia Mason, Dereck Ryan, Donna Rush, Ethel Rosenberg, CFovetS, olivermellors, screamingslave, Goran Thrax, Mafanikio and IronToader embody this spirit. Less active and inactive peeps like Plugson, Olafur Knutsson and hb741 also are a huge credit to MOO and COI and I’d like to include them as well. In appreciation for their support of me in the past, I will be donating 1,500 Q6 tanks to them.

Finally, I’d like to thank my cabinet over the past four months for putting up with everything. CFovetS is the best Minister of Defense that I’ve ever seen. Ethel Rosenberg also did a great job in my books. Etemenanki also deserves a tip of the hat, his steady hand was very much appreciated by myself and the rest of Canada. These three people did most of the heavy lifting behind the scenes and deserve a lot of credit. The supporting cast was also solid and I'd like to thank Nosyt, Phillip Delle Palme, Gary Hubert, Mafanikio, Andrew Mckenzie Caine, EZStreet, scrabman and PimpDollaz individually for a job well done. As a thank-you to them, I am nominating each of them (CFovetS, Ethel Rosenberg, Etemenanki, Nosyt, PDP, Gary Hubert, Mafanikio, AMC, EZStreet, scrabs, and PD) to the order of Canada, or promoting them by one rank in the Order.

In the past four months I was at the helm. Under my guidance eCanada kicked Sweden and UK out of our regions. We blocked a Romulan PTO. We kicked Poland and Serbia out of North America and France. We wiped UK repeatedly. We invested $1.5m in the construction program. We provided $8.5m to MU's in military funding. I didn't do it myself, but make no mistake, I intended for these things to happen and used my sphere of influence to achieve them. It has truly been a blast and I thank you one and all for the abundance of fish.
