MARCOS The Training Academy

Marcos is being built up to act as a training academy for newbies.
Few objectives to begin with are (more will be added)
1. Train the newbies
2. Put CO specifically for them which they can use to upgrade their training grounds
3. Organise them for limited battles, to the nation's advantage
4. Keep them involved
5. Seek promising players and promote them to IAF

Please volunteer to join the MU
Please be sure to direct newbies to Marcos
Comment any more objectives that need to be added
Gov funds are limited... So donations are always welcome

IAF invite only? In that case newbies may go to other MUs with open access (not necessarily MARCOS)

When one tires to join an MU, he is presented with 3 options, IAF, IR and MARCOS (3 largest). IAF being the largest and having an appealing name, most newbies naturally join it and are lost forever in the abyss and would take a lot of effort from our side to recruit them to MARCOS.

If we make IAF & IR invite-only, they'll have no other option but to join MARCOS and directly begin their training

the above 3 are the 1st 3 options available but you can always check for more MUs, its not compulsory to join only one out of these 3.

And good luck trying to make IR invite only. I had made all MUs invite only when I was CP earlier so that everyone joins IAF and are icluded in chats and discussions.

We cannot guarantee that they join an MU let alone join IAF or MARCOS but it does increase the probability of them joining MARCOS if we take those steps!!

It is ok let them join IAF, we just request them to move to Marcos

I suggest making IAF as Strict Access above National Force

As per MARCOS, I have changed the criteria to Strict Access above Major.

The scheme of giving COs would be great for making people with higher strength to go out and fight more often. But, in the case of newbies, this would motivate them to fight every day, that means they will spend more money on food, weapons, completely negating the amount they gain from the CO

I doubt if involving newbies will make any real difference on the battlefield. The influence from a dozen 1k peeps will be wiped out by a single 50k guy's strike

CO would probably be once a week. To encourage coordination and keep them from getting bored... Let will help them earn some money... Higher str people won't be kept in Marcos for long

As I previously suggested, Marcos can be renamed to Indian Armed Forces, to better reflect the shift in our policy - all newbies can be directed to it; while the rest of the soldiers remain in AHF (renamed from the current IAF) as an elite & closed unit.

If MARCOS is being used for Training why not name it as National Defense Academy.

Keep IAF as it is.
