BEF and AUD currency exchange
Bank of England
This is a notice to remind any native Belgians living in the UK that if you still have BEF in your citizen or company account you can sell it for GBP.
The UK government will buy your obsolete currency from you as part of the merger between our two economies.
We have also received many Australians to our country recently due to their nation being overrun in a hostile takeover by Indonesia.
Any Australians in the UK that wish to stay here until Australia is once again a free country can sell their obsolete AUD for GBP at the same rate we will buy BEF
ie. 1 AUD = 0.72 GBP as wages and prices in Australia were at a similar level to those in Belgium prior to invasion
Please can all UK citizens also register yourselves in the UK Forum at erepublik.co.uk using your Erepublik name.
There seems to have been somewhat of an Australian diaspora - if there are any Australians in the UK that still have contact with fellow Aussies around the world please invite them on our behalf to come and join us in the UK. Please also pass on the link to this article.
Australia will live again as a free nation, the UK will do what it can to support other's nations right to self-determination. In the meantime, you can live as free citizens in the UK, where you will at least be able to understand everything and play cricket!

I\'ll be the spending the next week at least working on getting as many Australians over here as possible.
Thank you very much for the currency offering. Aussies should have a much easier time getting back up on their feet thanks to this. 🙂
Welcome to the e-UK Neo.
indeed, welcome to E-UK
i cannot understand cricket, but do get a bit of aussie rules football
if the rate is 0.72 to the pound, surely they get 1GBP for each 0.72 BEF/AUD they trade and not the other way round, like stated. so 1 BEF/AUD = 1.3888 GBP???
ah yes - I shouldn\'t have added that bit at the end of the sentence. that\'s what I get for writing a notification at 2:20 am 🙁
