[UK-CP] Start of Term updates

Day 6,044, 00:09 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by 10 Downing Street

Hello all!

Thank you for re-electing me and endorsing the eUK’s Strategic Vision. I am as always grateful for your support and to those who have reached out to chat in the past few days.

Some quick-fire updates for you to start the term. I shall try to keep it brief as there will be several articles coming out this weekend.

Global Updates

Turkey and Asteria have gone to war, and the eUK is keeping an eye on what this means for us, and specifically our Training Wars. In the spirit of staying out of things that aren’t necessarily our business we have put a pause to our own TW with Turkey whilst the conflict rages on. Damage may spill into the wrong place during this conflict so be sure to monitor the National Feed and eDefence Sheet for up to date battle priorities.

I am working closely with the MoDFA to identify Training War partners who look like they won’t be impacted by this conflict in order to maintain a good number of Training Wars. It is probable that some of the regions we hold in Europe may be impacted by the war and this may cause some of our TW’s to close temporarily. We will always seek to replace them one a one-out-one in basis at the very least.

We have already found a partner to fly into the West Midlands so expect to see Colombia airstrike the region in the coming days, and make sure we lose that battle when it comes so they can land securely.

Congress have been sent a detailed update.

Not-Global News

Here in the eUK we’ve got a re-jigged Cabinet to announce, and a short statement about our immediate priorities and updates you can expect over the weekend.

Firstly, our Cabinet. To work around people’s availability and interest there have been a couple of changes:

As you can imagine our immediate priority is identifying new TW partners to mitigate any disruption caused by the Turkey-Asteria war. Extra diligence is being taken in this regard to identify partners who won’t be disrupted themselves and likewise, will not become targets.

By next week there will also be another issue of Weekend Whimsy, and update from the Ministry of Finance on our cash positions, and an update from the Ministry of Defence on Battle Guidelines and rewards.

I know you will be thinking that’s brief for me, but wait until you see the other updates that come out! (I apologise in advance).

Have a great weekend and as always if you have any questions do not hesitate to get in touch. If you are desperate for more reading, you can always remind yourself how our rewards work, and remember to utilise the eDefence Sheet!

Thanks for reading.
