Greetings, citizens of Netherlands,
a new debate has been started at the request of Congress member odan.
Ik wil het CoC team vragen om een motie van wantrouwen te starten tegen de minister van financiën.
zowel in de maand juli als de maand september is de minister zonder toestemming van congres buiten zijn budget gegaan.
in de maand juli met 34.843,00 en in de maand september met 855.902,00.
bovendien heeft deze mof onze liquide geldmiddelen zo verlaagd dat er in onze schatkist en de organisatie economische zaken net aan genoeg is voor een budget voor 1 maand.
ik heb totaal geen vertrouwen meer in deze minister, en verzoek daarom deze motie.
Response of Ministry of Finances
In both of the aforementioned months, the government managed to fulfill it's budget and create a profit - in one case, 475 000 currency, in second case, over 120 000 currency (for 1 Gold = 500 currency, currently it is even higher). The extra expenditure on third commune (as agreed upon by Congress) is, of course, excluded from regular budget in both months. Therefore the accusation is invalid, and we do not understand the reason for this motion.

The numbers from Finance Sheet do not lie. Everyone can see them, and compare them with real-game numbers. Everyone, except odan. And his monetary policies, if implemented, would cause us massive monetary losses (as they did, when he was Minister of Finances).
Compared to this, the last MoNC was much more reasonable. Clearly, IaW is running out of ideas, how to obstruct in Congress...
Given the fact the real numbers are presented in the article, there is no need to add more in the comment section.

I admire the Chairman for giving such an elaborative answer, something that has already been explained to odan weeks ago but is purposefully ignored to create chaos, anger and confusion in the eNetherlands. This has been the second motion of no confidence in a few days time, which are simply based on lies and no one, not even the instigators, except to succeed. All it does is create an aura of dissatisfaction.
As is the fact that odan insists on doing everything in Dutch since a few weeks, which is from the same guy that ridiculed people (i.e. James Janeway, GPN) in the past for speaking Dutch but now only serves to annoy e.g. Janty F:

It's sad that the Congressmen of Iron & Wine are excluding themselves (evident by them being the only faction that always votes opposite of the rest just because they can), even worse that it in essence a once normal party with good people (and still some are in there) has been hijacked for this hurtful (to the eNetherlands) purpose.
Seems like odan does not believe gold can be part of government budget and Janty F believes it is.
What I believe and I've said this several times. Gold is a form of currency with a variable value. We should also consider that the government is buying and selling gold on the monetary market when a special opportunities presents itself = making a lot of profit. When that results in the government having a high gold balance (odan describes this as huge expenditure on gold) that gold is still part of that months budget as when converted back to cc the government have simply used money to make more. Realisticslly speaking they increased the gov budget!
Gold should be considered the same as currency (but with a value that is variable atm +/- 523cc) and thus is not an expense when bought using cc.
I find it intriguing previous long-term Minister of Finance and author of the proposal does not know, that Monetary Market can help to increase budget.
Then again - during his tenure, both EZ and in-game treasury have been extremely empty (something I am now apparently accused of, despite EZ itself having nominal worth of almost 3 million currency).
odan values gold at 200 a piece as he made it a habit selling it for that price every term he was MoF.
printen kan helaas alleen maar voor 200. goud laten staan in de schatkist is nutteloos. is het ondertussen al 10 jaar geleden dat we voor het laatst iets konden met het goud wat daar staat?
Not even selling.. He used the ''buy cc'' option instead of the ''sell gold'' option, which in 99,5% of the cases is just plainly losing money over tax that Congressmen paid. And them some have the nerve to point fingers at others over financial matters.
There isnt any limit how many times in lets say week/month there can be MoNC against same person?
I know sometimes congress can be boring but that doesnt mean we can spam same law again and again.
Another I&W MoNC... classic...
So a MoNC for things happening in previous governments, with another President responsible. Personally I wont even consider voting in favor.

Fine. If you don't elaborate I won't look. 99% sure you just misinterpreted matters and stick to repeating the same over and over. Might be that's the way you normally try to convince people but that won't work.
alles wat je moet weten heb ik in het artikel gemeld. als je dit zelf wilt controleren zul je toch echt zelf moeten gaan kijken.
en nee ik mis interpreteer dingen niet.
He can't give you a proof, because he only took two numbers out of context, and based his argument on that.
If he looked at the whole picture (as presented in MoF response), he would realize his accusations are, indeed, false. But then he would have no MoNC "casus belli", so of course he can't do that 😉
I would must like to mention, that we are a different month, 1-2 days ecactly of a new government being formed and launching a MoNC of the past and nothing about the present is simply a time waste of both congress, government planning and the usage of MoNC.

5. Na minimaal 24 uur debatteren, kunnen congresleden een stem openen in de stemafdeling van het congres, zoals bepaald in artikel 7.
als onderwerp van de motie zou een persoon zich juist neutraal op moeten stellen en dat soort beslissingen niet nemen.
maar neutraliteit is ver te zoeken met de huidige congresvoorzitter.
Een stemming over uw besproken voorstel is volgens de wet aangevraagd en het CoC-team heeft de nodige assistentie verleend. Ontkennen van de stemming, zoals u suggereert, zou in strijd zijn met de wet.
