Topic: Formal use of Governmental articles
Requester: ElGorro
Text:
As these days Congress is debating on the color of the army hats and Referenda to remove Referenda, I decided to start a debate on something that really matters. I dont mind if our army will dress in pink, but I want to have my governmental articles written professional.
My proposal is a motion to forbid the use of pancakes in official government articles.
Expect a vote on this real soon, as I expect a threat in this theme in the next few days.

What about Poffertjes?
Where did the hat go 😐
Unfortunately my beret-proposal did not get accepted, so I am in mourning. One can't mourn in a hat.
Why would The Sea King use pancakes, is that some internal thing?
So this takes precedence over my debate I sent you yesterday and hasn't started yet.
Stay on topic please.
You want ontopic? You can't handle ontopic!
Isn't there a vote you need to close?
Isnt there another MoNC?
You read my reasons for the yes
I do not support this motion, not because I want pancakes that badly (alright, one or two would be nice, but strictly no more!) but because I think some humour in government articles can lower the barrier between the high up officials and the people on the street.
Seems right. Maybe in all but the financial publications we can use pancakes. In financials, which are only read by the political and economical elite, we can use lobsters.

They have caviar
Speaking about articles, can we expect a golden bicycle this month? :>
Haha, that's a while ago when I made those. I might pick it up again soon... But for now I am busy with another article which will appear even sooner... 😉
As promise😛 https://www.erepublik.com/en/article/a-comprehensive-guide-to-edutch-party-politics-2694352
It shouldn't be too jovial and turn into articles that might as well be posted in personal newspapers (which I sometimes see occur) but I don't believe we should regulate what kind of 'humour' is supposed to be there 😃
Formal response of the Government:
We recognise the fact that its important for the majority of our governmental articles to be formal for which we comply with. However, there are occasions that should be allowed to have an informal presence such as April 1st fools day in which our MoFA article has published informally at the same time of providing information. It cannot be ignored that the response has been well met achieving 60 votes. This is also an evidence that some informalities increases out international presence.
Ministers use their own personal newspapers for completly informal publishes.
The government does not support this motion as we believe humour should not be eliminated and the popularity response that has been achieved would be damaged.
Debate can be closed. This debate was also start as response to the e.g. debate on referenda on removing referenda and the official color of the hats. Hope the point is made.
