Due to recent complaints about the official Country Feed being unappropriately used, I would like to see about setting some ground rules.
Is the feed for military only? Can congressmembers post personal or party publications? Or only official business like MoF programs, CoC informing of debates, voting results...

Government official articles can be posted there, including congress debates and votes. Personal and party articles should not be in there in my opinion. There is a nice 'friends' feed for personal stuff and a whole feed dedicated for your party as well!
About military announcements, I feel like they find their place really nice in the country feed since it is a way to reach people across all MU's. Moreover, it is only visible to eDutch citizens.
Imho Party politics in terms of election articles should be allowed but not spammed. Maybe only the Party president should be posting such articles and only once.
If e.g. DemNL writes an article now I should be the one shouting it and people with CM or gov positions shpuldn't copy the post and spam the feed. One time shout ia enough. If you want more attention vote the post and comment below it.
As for the other posts, I agree with odan (see hos comment below), altough thinga like RW support info (tips for players) should be allowed as well.
If we apply the no rules policy I'm also fine with that with the exception of spam/double post in short period of time.
No rules, use game mechanics.
Somehow, I agree.
I spotted a trend
there is a reason ordinary citizens aren't allowed to start a message there. so anything not congress/gov/national mu related shouldn't be posted there.
I have a bit of trouble with these proposals that do not entail a concrete change in law or set in words a motion. Do I see a general notice or what and why should we in Congress vote on that? Besides, it's kind of symbolic politics as the National Feed is not regulated by us at all. Not to mention I wouldn't classify it as spam (so far!), but as healthy activity so far. Very easy to read back and see everything posted in the last week..
ReL is spamming some times with you and ElGorro both shouting the same ReL article within 10 minutes from each other.
Other than that I have not seen much spam no. I think we're doing fine.
Spam can always be reported to appropriate authorities.
It is not to regulate but rather to find a concensus on the use.
I would like a consensus were the feed is only used for official business but I'm not in favour of enforcing any rules.
I do not understand what the concrete proposal? In any case, I think that feed should not contain citizen articles, especially if they are not important for the community
The new article quickly reaches the top 5 section, so there is no real need to overload the country feed
It is also limited to 5 so quickly out of top 5
Then remember these good times. In some countries, article stays in this section few weeks or even months
Sort the feed to newest to see the newest and click more news or something like that at the bottom of the article titles to see more. Easy and all are visible.
No need for law or rules. Just let game mechanics do their work. Just like using them to read stuff should be used. Like I said before (and apparently the cause for starting this debate) if we link to every article that can also be seen in the article “feed” it’s spam and it will cause other stuff to b3 hard to find fast. Linking to a foreign article of interest or stuff like that is fine along with it being the only (fast) way to reach every citizen willing to pay attention. For instance for RW support information. If a link to every congress debate or article is posted that becomes invisible fast and imo should be prevented.
If we agree that no hard laws are needed to keep the country feed clean i suggest not voting on the matter and closing this debate.
If you do wish to see something in writing please speak your mind.
