The Economist ~ Goodbye GLaDOS! ;_; [updated]
Spite313
Dear friends,
I thought since it was the end of yet another presidential month, I’d take the time to sum up GLaDOS’ term in office. I think that the measure of a President is often how they deal with crisis. In the public eye those crisis are most often wars, but in government a shortage of funds or a lack of manpower can be just as disastrous. GLaDOS is probably feeling a little disappointed that nobody tried to brutally invade us during his term, giving him the chance to display his military, leadership and trolling talents. However I’m always glad for a quiet term. This month we’ve seen a big increase in our tax income, a stabilisation of our domestic markets and a resurgence of our high-Q production. We’ve seen the military reformed (once again) and new initiatives launched. It’s been a fairly good month. Since I love ms paint, I’ve decided to keep this article short and sum up GLaDOS term in pictures instead.
GLaDOS emerges victorious
When GLaDOS announced he was to stand for President a lot of people were surprised. When he won, many people were shocked. With TUP, RFA and UKRP all backing separate candidates it was anyone’s game, though bets were on Pensive (TUP) or GLaDOS (UKRP) to win, being from the two largest parties. GLaDOS swept up the military vote and won, and I think nobody was as surprised as he was. Despite attempts to impeach him the second place candidate Pensive remained in support of the people’s choice, and overall GLaDOS delivered stability.

GLaDOS invades Norway
Early in the term GLaDOS whipped out his signature knife move on Norway, co-ordinating a double strike with Russia. UK secured high-oil, placed a hospital and began trying to fortify the region.
Admins reverse decision
With the admins reversing the decision GLaDOS was surprised to see Norway coming back from the dead
😛
Battle for Rhone-Alps
Midway through the term the battle for Rhone Alps kicked off, with the UK providing its share of tanks. GLaDOS led the UK armed forces into battle and against all the odds we won, removing the high wood region from Poland.
Fall of Hellokitty
At the end of his term, Heilongjiang fell to invading forces. The epic battle only drew Phoenix closer together however. A family til the end.
----
In the end this month has given us stability. Whoever takes on the Presidency next month will lead a country much stronger than the eUK GLaDOS inherited.
Our challenges for the future are continuing the economic revival, developing a strong community and involving as many citizens as possible in our planning for the future. Whoever can do that the most effectively will be the natural successor to GLaDOS.
Cheers,
Iain

Hey I have a company in the Rhone Alps... And the latest news is that is still in Spanish hands.
Sorry, bad term, lot spent for nothing and nothing gained. I guess failing is the best way to stay in Cabinet 😉
Whilest you were screwing up, we built a top 5 party.
Plus the author of this article seems to be candidate to CP election because he expressed himself in the live debate.
This is a totla disrespect for voters, democracy and completely ignored Spectrum, SDP and it's allies.
In otherwords an elite perpetuating itself without the people.
Democracy in this country is a joke, whoever you vote for the same old people stay in power.
Plus it's a real laugh to see Glados backed with the UK flag...
ITT melophore proves he knows nothing about the game or the country's current financial status

I may love Doctor Who, but I have to agree with you Tom.
