Resignation of minister of foreign affairs
moomoohead
The story starts, when I was asked by Mike, to be MoFA for this month. Before the election I was listed as the only MoFA, after the election I was listed as co MoFA with Brian. I respect Brain and know he is capable of the job. I also know that you need clear roles and responsibilities in any postion, or people will step on each other’s feet. The first days of the month it was agreed with Mike and Brain, I would work on MPP and world reports. Brian would work on Alliances and an ambassador program.
The MoD told me what he was looking for in MPP’s and MoF stated the budget we had. I asked congress if anyone wanted to help, and two people said yes. I asked them to be deputy ministers and we started a mass PM. The PM is up to almost 100 posts, we discussed counties to sign with, best strategy for Ireland, and contacts made with many governments. Our team recommended signing with Columbia, Australia, and Iran to congress and explained our reasoning. These MPP's put us at war with Venezuela, Mexico, New Zeland, and Russia are all countries Ireland has never had many ties with. I also wrote articles as MoFA and have a few to be published.
So everything is going grand till today when I was informed by the “committee” they had negotiated and decided to sign an MPP with Bulgaria. I like Bulgaria and have always been pro CoT but Bulgaria is fighting Greece now. This MPP would have Ireland fighting an old friend. I explained my logic why I thought this was wrong to the “comettee”. I thought this was bad for several reasons but was only given the reason for doing this as “trust me”.
I cannot be in a government that fights Greece. Greece has been there for Ireland many times over the years. The Ireland I know does not attack its friends, especially for no reason. It is one thing to make these calls as part of an alliance, totally another thing to do this when you are independent. I have resigned as MoFA because I could never explain to my Greek friends how I was a part of a government that chooses to fight against them. I am urging congress vote down a Bulgarian MPP.
SHAME ON THE IRISH GOVERNMENT FOR FORGETTING OUR FRIENDS.

While I support respecting allies past&present, I can't help but think Greece being the home of Libertad HQ has driven your decision, and wish you'd shown some of our other allies the same consideration in the past.
I respect the many Greecks that have been eIrirsh, I respect when EXO took on the whole UK by himself and won a RW,, and I respect when Libertad was the only people to help Ireland. I respect our friends and do not support signing MPP's against them.
Libertad also wanted the irish to fight for the UK against Ireland, selective memory Moo??
Mikes a simpleton. He got a cp medal and now couldnt care less, dont worry tho the ILP wont be choosing cp candidates like that again 🙂
Your assuming Mike is in Charge
To go off of moomoo, I didn't exactly support fighting against Greece.
Your not telling the whole story Moo, your picking the bits to justify what you did, you were supposed to report to the Cp Committee before presenting any MPP to congress, did you, NO, you put the Iran MPP to congress directly without consulting the CP Committee because they Iran wanted it signed quickly, that was not your decision to make - rules are there for a reason and you didn't follow them.
Your time in Libertad has tainted your vision it seems.
what does Iran have to do with Bulgaria? If you are making rules you should tell the people you expect to follow them, last I saw it was congress that decided on MPP.
congress wouldnt have decided on that mpp had you not presented it to them.
the decision to further explore the Bulgarian MPP was taken in the senate meeting on Sunday night, it was agreed by all that it was an avenue worth exploring, it wasn't/isn't one person quest for a Bulgarian MPP.
Do you know if they are willing to finance their half of it? Theyre in a bit of an economic rut
They're not able to finance their own half so I suggested that we consider paying a portion of theirs too. We want to remind Bulgaria of when we stood by them in EDEN, now that we're neutral and they're doing extremely well, they're a valuable mpp to have and could put us in a better position to sign other mpps as well. It was generally agreed on that one good mpp was better than two lousy ones.
So why appoint some one MoFA and tell them to sign EDEN MPP when it is the senate making the calls.
At a delicate time like now when eIreland is looking at it's future in alliances, the FA process needs to have a lot of input from different sources. If we were in an alliance it would make sense to just have the MoFA take care of everything, but given that we're neutral and considering our options AS A NATION, it makes perfect sense that alliances and mpps would be on the senate agenda.
Wow a lot of shock here, cant believe im witnessing Nogin & Moo argue.
If we are to move onto a different axis we will have to fight the likes of Croatia & Greece at some stage. An MoFA should expect that & no doubt your affliction with Libertad has made you take this stance.
Still admiration for a man who's principles cant be compromised.
I hope to see a Bulgarian MPP signed!
Obviously you have never talked to Nogin. Best part about her is she tells you like it is, worst part about her is she tells you like it is
lol
Respect Momo
I agree with your decision, you did a great job for signing MPP with Colombia
I am shocking when I see that the CP wants to sign a MPP with Bulgaria

I wouldn't say that you have anything to gain being bias towards Greece, Moomoohead, in terms of political advancement etc, but you should recognize that your dealings with Greek officials are going to paint a picture entirely different to any other Irish citizen, due to your background and friends in Greece.
My dealings found that Greece holds as much as a grudge against us as Turkey does for our support of Bulgaria in Bul-Tur Crisis in EDEN - Respect is a two way street, and that has not always been upheld. Libertad, an international unit, has our respect for their help in liberating us from British occupation - we respect our old allies for their commitment aswell, but to say we owe them? We may be small, but we have fought our heart and soul out for every single one of our current and old allies, I have fought for Greece more times than I can count.
I agree with what you said Seanan but why take sides in a battle we have friends on both sides.
I agree with moo, why taking sides? Once we decide about our future then we might can take side, but not yet definatly...
@moo I'd say because we think of more countries being our friends, than countries who think they are friends of ours.
The problem is that all of our friends are at war with eachother - if Bulgaria had been at war with Turkey, like the majority of the time, this MPP would been signed without much resistance. But we do not choose who Bulgaria fights with, we could have signed a MPP last month and only had this problem with Greece today - on face value, Bulgaria is a friend, so thats a reason to consider the MPP, the next is war; they could have a war with a friend, but they could also have a war with someone we don't care about - which is true of nearly every country we could sign with. What have we done in these situation before? We fought in the MPP battle when the MPP'd country was defending, and fought elsewhere when they were attacking a country we like. If we signed a MPP with Greece (unlikely, as they would refuse.) we'd be in the same position, but its more likely Greece is going to have a war with Bulgaria, than Bulgaria is going to have war with Greece alone (and not Turkey for example).
@Shield We keep signing MPPs with proEDEN countries which is taking a side - and if we had intended to take a side, we'd still be in EDEN - the point of neutrality is that we can decide whom our allies are - which means we can pick a MPP with Iran (proEDEN) and pick a MPP with Bulgaria (CoT) as long as they don't have a direct conflict. Thats the entire point of being neutral, so yeah, we need to decide our future, but signing MPPs with both sides of an alliance war is not picking a side.. while signing with only one side most certainly is.
what seanan said x2
Fascinating.
not certain also of a war against greece.
sad to see this happening...
One does not simply sign MPP's with proEDEN countries AND eBulgaria, yeah I like them both too, but don't act reta*ded.
SHAME ON THE IRISH GOVERNMENT FOR FORGETTING OUR FRIENDS!
Who says that? We're neutral & not under threat of war we can sign MPPs with whoever we like infact being a neutral country encourages signing mpps with both sides.
Why should our foreign policy be dictated by Libertad, EDEN or you?
lets remember when you take Irish Citizenship you leave behind previous allegiances or should do, the senate decided to explore the Bulgarian MPP for the good of Ireland.
correct me if im wrong but were you not always involved in talks with BG to have Ireland leave EDEN and join BG wherever she ended up?
You went on for months saying we need to join CoT but wait now that you have changed your name and its a diff government you change your tune, well i dont buy your bull for a second. pipe down cause we all know about you, you can change your name but you cant change the past and how you demanded we joined BG.

What idiot put moo for MoFA?
He once fully supported treason of ireland when IBhoy sold Dublin to brits.
And 6 months later decided to fight with his fake Libertad against real land swap in Louth done by serious government.
Not only a traitor but very confused one....well done mike......you know how to chose them
