Az elmúlt napok bugokkal tarkított története érdekes képet fest elénk a nyugat-európai háború helyzetéről. Csütörtökre virradóra Anglia több fronton is védelembe kényszerült, azonban míg az anyaországot érő kanadai támadás a szokásos Phoenix-edzőharc jellegét öltötte, Norvégia (4 MPPje birtokában) sikerrel szorította ki a briteket Dániából. A franciaországi csaták története már korántsam ilyen egyszerű.

Anglia ugyanis elfoglalta, majd a lengyel támadás ellen meg is védte Alsó-Normandiát. Ugyanitt RW is indult, amelyet a mobil magyar hadsereg - a spanyolok elleni Limousin felkelésének győzelemre vitele után - szintén sikerre vitt. A két régió azonban órákig nem került át az eRepublik rendszerében Franciaországhoz. A britek ezt kihasználva megtámadták innen a lengyel fennhatóság alatt álló Loire-völgyet (ez a csata ma jelentős brit vezetésnél félbeszakadt, lehet hogy az adminok így korrigálták előző napi hibájukat? Vagy ez a csata is bugos?), és blokkolták Spanyolországot is. Amikor pedig a régiókat a rendszer mégis átkönyvelte Franciaországhoz, a gallok azonnal három régióban is támadást indítottak, a fal mindenütt érdemi mínuszban van. Még a sikeres spanyol védelem esetén is fennáll a permablokk lehetősége.

A spanyolok svájci bevonulásával "láncreakciós" háborújuk nyílt az egyébként EDEN-szövetséges USA-val. Az amerikaiak át is léptek a kontinensre Bretagne-ban, de nem túl valószínű, hogy a franciákat eredeti területen blokkolni próbálnák, számos szövetséget aktiválva ezzel maguk ellen. Összességében az elmúlt napokban az Anglia elleni invázió esélye tovább csökkent, az EDEN pedig defenzívába szorult ebben a körzetben, amelyet esetlegesen a kisebb országok (Belgium, Svájc) bevonásával próbálhatna megváltoztatni, de ez nem tűnik egyszerűnek.

There is a bit chaotic picture in Western Europe after the last days' battles and bugs. England was forced to defend two fronts in Thursday. Although the Canadian attack against the British mainland was a kind of Phoenix TW, Norway with her 4 MPPs succesfully invaded the British-held regions in Denmark. The story of the French battles, however, is a bit complicated.

England invaded Lower Normandy and held it successfully against a Polish assault. Here an RW was also started, which was successful (thanks to the Hungarian mobile forces, similarly to the Limousin RW a few hours earlier). Lower Normandy and Limousin, however, were not instantly re-accounted to France in the eRepublik system. Exploiting this, the Brits attacked the Polish Loire valley (this battle was ended today at significant British lead - perhaps the admin corrected their yesterdays bug this way, or is it simply another bug?), and blocked also Spain. While the regions were finally re-accounted to France, the Galls attacked Spain at three regions from here. The walls are pretty down in all regions and even in case of a successful Spanish defence, there is a possibility of the perma-blocking.

As Spain attacked Switzerland earlier this week, they activated a 'chain-reaction' war with the USA. The Americans stepped into the old continent at Brittany but it is less probable that they try to block the French at original regions, thuis activating many alliances. Summarizing, the probability of a full-scale assault against Britain decreased in these days. The EDEN lost the initiative in this area, which might be re-gained by the assistance of smaller countries (Belgium, Switzerland) but now it does not seem to be easy.
