Alot of you are new to congress, others have been here before.
As Congress get alot of new powers in v1 we decided on the forums, that we would discuss all proposals before we propose them here in eRepublik, allowing atleast 24 hours discussion.
In the past few days we have had, 4 Proposals, all not discussed.
So this is a friendly reminder that all congress proposals MUST be posted 24 hours in advance on our forums, if you cant get onto the forums, please send your proposal to myself, or your party leader, who will post it for you.
ALL PROPOSALS WITHOUT THE 24 HOUR DISCUSSION PERIOD WILL BE VOTED NO REGARDLESS OF THE PROPOSAL!

Its not hard to discuss things with other Congressmen, they may be reasons why your proposal hasnt happened before!
Now please, lets try not to have too many more Rogue Proposals!

Just out of curiosity why do they have to debate it to propose it? What are the consequences. And if they are all to be voted no then why do a lot of them have yes votes?
Well the problems we have are Congressmen going off on there own wanting something, which they may have a good reason for, but without the discussion were unaware of why.
Example, when v1 came out, irish_rebel proposed a minimum wage of 2.5IEP, when we had already discussed on the forums for 1IEP, because of this, we had to wait 2 days for it to be sorted, and were stuck at 5IEP during those days!
Its just so things can be discussed, some congressmen might think, hey 100% tax is a great idea, but then when they speak with others, it appears it isnt.
Also note each congressmen get only 2 proposals per term, discussion will save alot on wasted proposals! just look at all the rejected ones in the past few days! 4 Rejected in less than 3 days... all were not discussed!
