2-Clicker 2-Minute Coffee Summary - Congressional Blocking 101

Day 828, 06:00 Published in USA USA by Zheng He

The word of the day is "blocker"

(Notice how I only have one word this time?)

So I've been reading about the Congressional election, "creep PTOs," and "blockers" recently, and as a 2-clicker I've been very confused. What in the hell are they talking about?? Even our VP has claimed The Sky Is Falling!

So I put my journal hat on and called in political favors until I got 5 minutes with the supreme anti-PTO, blocker extraoardinaire himself, none other than the richest and busiest eAmerican in the game, Vice President Max McFarland 2.

(Shown here in his Coffee Robe, which I gifted him in appreciation of the interview.)

So, Vip Max, none of the articles I read actually explained, in simple 2-clicker terms, what a "blocker" does and how she helps.

Okay, here are the rules, broken down in one syllable words.
1. Parties have no control over who joins the party.

(E😛 Wow, so a company owner can fire people, but not a party prez.)

2. Parties have no control over who runs for Congress.

(E😛 This is really weird!)

3. On the 24th, every party president must select one candidate for every region, from the people that signed up for that region.

(E😛 First rule that makes sense ... note that Americans usually call regions "states".)

4. If a PTO Group signs up on the 23rd, and they are the only option, the party president has no choice but to let them run in the election.

(E😛 Whooee, this is what I missed!)

5. Blockers fill up a spot in each party, for each region, so the party president may choose the blocker, instead of the PTO Group candidate.

There you have it folks, a 2-clicker's guide to Blocking from the horses mouth. Thank you Vip Max, it was a pleasure.

I try to reply to all stupid questions posted in the comments on my articles. 🙂
