Join the new world

Hello Voters.

My name is 1ronman, and I joined eRepublik around 3 months ago. Since then, i've been apart the CAF, MeSu, and I am the current Vice-President of the Progressive Party of Canada (PPC). I've had 1 mandate in congress since I joined, and am now looking to begin my second mandate as a congressmen.

Here's what I want to do as a congressmen...

I want to increase the military budget slightly and ensure that there's always enough funds to provide weapons and moving tickets for soldiers to fight. I want to expand the CAF, make it stronger, and more efficient. I want to ensure that Canada will continue to create hospitals (q4) and provide them to all regions. I want to start providing bordering regions such as Nova Scotia with Defense Systems to help defend. We also need to ensure that the bordering regions have a high population to make our wall higher in the event of a battle. And on the topic of alliances, I want to continue to support our allies in ATLANTIS with all of our means possible.

I want to stop the current government organizations from selling their goods above market value and hiring above market offers. I also support shutting down the Government Housing company's as well. Alot of our government spending goes to these corporations, and some of them are killing the economy. (Mainly just the Housing Company's). If Canadian Companies are to survive we need to HELP them not destroy them.

On the subject of taxes, I support keeping the import taxes high. And I support a flat and fair taxation of 10% Income, 50% import tax, and 10% Value Add tax on all industries. Of course, with the exception of hospitals and defense systems. This will ensure we keep a high stable treasury and we have the funds to drive ourselves out of any crisis we may face.
