It's day 1468 and I'm on the battlefield at 18:00.

Right now, here's a look at our corner of the worl😛

We have just one offensive battle going on right now, and two resistance wars. The US is winning in West Virginia (1-0), but behind in the resistance efforts (6-0) in Maine and (6-1) in the federal District.

Earlier today:

North Carolina was retaken (8-4) from Serbia by attack.

A resistance effort against Serbia was defeated in Iowa (8-4), and resistance against Poland was stopped in North Dakota (8-2).

A win in West Virginia tomorrow would not only keep the initiative but put the US within one state of Aluminum resources. Currently all the US Aluminium regions are occupied by Poland, a country we have not yet taken on head-to-head while focusing on Serbia, but capturing Aluminium would give a needed boost to the production of weapons and raw weapon materials.

If the resistance in Maine proves successful (though it looks unlikely), that would not give us the Aluminium resource because it needs a "direct transport route to the capitol" (Florida).
