[PRESIDENT] Opperation Lion King and the eUNL effort

I would like to first of all congratulate all our allies for the victory we have achieved yesterday. Despite our presence of 16 members, we managed to do a devastating 190K damage during the battle of Liaoning aka Lion King (LK). This was a great victory for the alliance.
In congress however there is a debate regarding the funds spent on this battle. This article is meant to give you all the facts with regards to my actions and the amount of state money spent on this battle.
The Facts:
- 500 Gold was given as a loan to serbia. we will get it back.
- 200 Gold was taken from DNB to support the tanking
- 80 G was usedd by danielb to tank before day change in LK
- 80G was recieved by serbia for our tanking in LK
- 20G was not used for tanking and returned to EZ
Reasons for my actions:
-500G was asked by Mitch Rapp to loan to serbia. If this was not done then then the battle might have had a different outcome. Mitch Rapp assured me that he will make sure the money is returned to the eUNL. This money was taken from EZ in order to do this. We will get this money back.
-200G for tanking. This was taken out of the DNB. The reason was because there was nothing in EZ. I figured that when the loan is repayed from serbia, the 200G taken from the DNB can be returned to EZ, so that there will remain enough working money with in the future.
Was this alot of money?
- YES it was alot of money to spend on one battle. The exact sum used for tanking (taken from the state accounts) was 260G
Was it worth it?
- Yes it was worth every penny.
Why is it worth every penny?
- Because LK is the only PHX region to have the highest income. LK is an economic PHX stronghold because of this. The loss of this region would have shifted the power towards EDEN and screwed over the alliance for many months to come and maybe even ended the alliance itself
How much damage did we do?
- The eUNL did an impressive 180K damage with our tanks!
Why did we do it, and why did I decide to take action?
- Our allies needed all the help they could get! When the hour of need was upon them, and we were called upon, we responded. That is the reason for an alliance.
- Our country has 2000 gold in the DNB. When an ally is in need and you are in a position to help them you do so. We were not the only country to loan this money to serbia. Germany, Russia and the UK did the same. Was it a risk? Yes it was, but I would have rather helped an ally then see our ally lose an important battle and region, then have done nothing at all, knowing the money that could have made a difference is sitting safely in a org account. If we ever need the money I expect our allies to act in the same way.
Think of all the times that foreign countries have helped us out. I bet that if we add all that generosity together we come at a greater cost. But besides that the reason we are in an alliance is to help each other in the most distressing of times regardless of the cost. Eden is the enemy, not our allies and we are NOT Entente! Remember that!
With regards to congress and the law:
When I acted I knew that I was overstepping the rules set forth by congress. I consulted those whom I believed necessary in order to get all the facts and I acted. That is the role of the Country President. If congress wishes to see that I be held accountable for my decisions and overstepping the bounds set forth by congress, I ask you then to start a forum congress discussion and follow it with a forum vote with regards to Impeaching me. Vote as your conscious dictates, as I know that my own is clear.

Does Serbia see this as the first 80 Gold they've paid of their loan? Will we receive 420 Gold or 500 Gold from them. Quite a difference if you ask me. 🙁
