[PRESIDENT] MPP With Hungary

Dear citiczens, In order to get some activity and some wars for the eUNL we the government have felt the need for a new MPP.
We currently have two MPP's.
The first is with Turkey, where we currently have no wars with at the moment.
The Second one is with Russia.
The Russia MPP of last week was done so that we could have Training wars. However due to mis-communication through PHX towards us with regards to this, there have been no wars. This is because the PHX top did not wish to see a damage drain from high priority battles. These things happen when there are different agendas at play.
Our agenda is is currently on finding an MPP where we can count on active battles. In a previous article by the PM we decided to not sign additional MPP's. However situations have changed as it has become ever more clear that the proposed battles in Russia will not be taking place anytime soon. It is for this reason the I have proposed a MPP with Hungary.
Seeing the costs of MPPs being so large as they are, we the government would like to ask you, to make a small contribution in helping to pay for this MPP.

I actually agree with Shaker/Boklevski.
Hungary was under attack a long time ago already, and it's not like this is done to protect them. Just 24h wouldn't hurt.

Yesterday we could read your article, and today the presidents article. In both articles I can read that the government have talked with eachother.

Well AI might not be the perfect diplomat sometimes, I must say that we have discussed this with the gov, and other people inside the eUNL such as Danielb. The consensus was that there was a need for a MPP.
The congress now has the time to vote yes or no on the subject. I have apologized that there was no time for a debate. There are times when direct action is needed. That is one of the reasons why a CP is elected, to make those decisions!

@Auggustus: thanks for your answer. I have no doubt that you discussed this matter with a lot of people, But it's also about keeping people involved. In the news and in the congress. If a government decides to bypass the congress on a regular base than the goal to make people more active and involved in their eCountry, slowly fades away.

Auggustus asked for my advice; I advised him to sign an MPP with Russia on REQUEST OF THE RUSSIAN CP(Yes, some people do have contacts with the Russians.)
Not that long later I get the request for advise on what MPP to sign; I get attacked that I advised you wrong.
UNL is part of the TW's and is such expected to write the MPP's.
Also; even I make mistakes.

For once I agree withyou that the people should be kept informed.. However in order toavoid confusion I needed to make a clear debate in congress. Seeing that I was not getting any clear answers I decided against it. If I had been informed of evertything when asked I would have discussed it with congress. This time I had to take action. Objections are noted and I will try to do better in the future 😉
We are all busy, AI, and some of us are more busy than you are. This does not take away the fact that it might exhaust you, but there is no reason to complain.
I think this is a good move. We just need fights now and a congress debate would have been useless. The facts are known and it's up to the congress members to decide whether they want the MPP. However, it should not become a habit to just propose an MPP. Discussions are vital in advance of every decision.

So our country is so poor we cant afford another MPP that you suggest we all donate our own money to do so?
Wouldn't it be cheaper to have a state run company providing moving tickets for people to move to where wars are? That would cost a considerable amount less than the 100 gold needed for the MPP.
Markus Bell, and how much does it cost to move people back and forth every day, for a month... Whilst we are not reaching all players that way, as we still have Party Presidents, Congress Men, and hell maybe even some companyowners. Next to that some people that wish to fight but not to take the extra wellness loss of 4 points every day moving back and forth.... This would cost us a lot more then 100 gold.

I hope the baby boom for eUNL is near now. It is being expected for months now. I hope one day eUNL will be bigger than eBelgium. 😛
