[MoF] National Budget
Jack Lantos
The Ministry of Finance team under CP Exibot hereby publish the national budget for this term (Jan 05 - Feb 05).
We have designed this budget with a strategic mixture of essential services, growth initiatives, and support programs.
The NDA program is the official supply point for weapons and food going to strengthen and build up our soldiers for home defence and to back up our allies.
We are fortunate to have energetic teams dedicated to player retention, and spicing up our media and culture with article competitions and rewards. New players will be actively welcomed and our aim is to enhance their experience, and the more who decide to stay, the stronger our nation will be in the future in all areas.
Our ambassador program recognises the essential contribution of our foreign affairs representatives in this game, promoting our nation on the international stage, and providing an alternate opportunity for new players to sign up for something and help out, and as well as increase their reputation and networks.
We endeaver to promote sensible investments and empower company builders with increased income, by continuing the loan service. This service has a positive return on investment from interest, and also improves overall market activity.
We have allocated funding for 13 MPP renewals.
The budget returns a positive balance as insurance against unpredictable expenses, and to increase the financial security and opportunities of future governments.

Further clarification in response to comments
Actual spending is being tracked in full detail by individual departments responsible; no movement of state funds or assets goes unrecorded. By the end of the term the Ministry of Finance will review all actual spending against budgeted amounts. Programs costing less than the amounts budgeted will allow the excess funds to grow the reserves and improve loan availability (which is becoming more popular).
All programs proposed in the cabinet forums underwent feasibility review to determine if the proposed amount should be increased or decreased, in view of their relative cost/benefit ratios and potential for expansion (which is the case for the NDA program).
For more details on state assets carried over from previous terms, dMoF Kismu is currently reviewing our assets for an upcoming report.

Fascinating! Good job, Jack! You are the best.
@JustNosfe This is a budget showing estimated expenses for the month. Please coordinate with Jack, Teutonic or Kismu for further information.
@JostNosfe - What Exibot Said 🙂
@JostNosfe On the NDA front, here is the expense calculations.
35 people request dispatch daily(currently averages to 30-31. the extra is to account for future growth and buffer).
One dispatch costs 198 INR (irrespective of the group).
Daily expense INR. 35*200 = 7000
=> One month = 210000.
Hope that explains the your question about NDA.
And that calculation is taking into account we get the deals at 33 INR for tanks and 3.3 INR for food. If these rates increase, the estimate would be lower than the actual expense!!!
If you say then I will try to publish the exacts when I get to a comp as accessing via 3G due to the home net breakdown,so plaese, see in the forums as of now if you want.
Nice Cash flow diagram.
[MoFA] EDEN membership: 10 g => Why there is 10G mentioned here.
Do we need to do any spending on this ??
If there is any discussion on this 10g spending, let me know. I tried to follow in the forum. But couldn't find the discussion.

Clarification - 10g fee is for full members only, not GEA members. o7
Little clarification needed from HoA or whomever may it concern.
Did Ambassadors and their team getting paid for the duties ??
Not yet, Hem. An update will be out soon on this.
@Kismu and Teuton- According to the NDA page the average number of application per day as per the NDA spreadsheet is 17-18 per day and the maximum number is 22 in a day. So total of 35 is too large.
At 18 applicants/day the calculations will be
200*18*30=108K INR. The allocated budget is double that amount.
Also there has been no financial report from MOF like the ones given by Commius which would have ensured smooth and transparent transition between govs and also ensured that assets arenot lost between gov transition.
Nice flowchart btw.

Also in the forum Fireredsky has applied for 140K INR monthly for NDA.So some clarifications is sought.
I added errata and clarification comments to address constructive feedback, see bottom of article.
Love what you guys have done here! \m/ Hope successive terms keep this up ... I hope you guys make a basic template for this as well and pass it on term to term. o7
Love the organisational stuff!
