[Dept of Finance] Sept-October 2012 Budget
Reserve Bank of Australia
Infin has handed down the Government's Budget. It was a difficult Budget as eAustralia is currently wiped and Infin has worked hard to ensure our military and foreign affairs obligations can be delivered. Highlights include $1 million for the Australian Defence Force and $50,000 for MPP renewals.
Budget notes:
Revenue should remain steady at $600,000 for the month. As a result of the wipe and insufficient revenue to meet our basic obligations, a deficit of $448,000 is anticipated for the month. An end-of-term Budget Review will reveal a more accurate realisation based on Region return accruals at that date.
ADF funding has been deducted from the RBA balance. MPPs and citizen fees have been deducted from the Treasury.
There has been no provision for funding of MUs at this stage. If the Senate can agree to a policy in this regards then the matter can be addressed separately.
We ask Senators to vote Yes to the Budget to secure funding for our soldiers and allies.
