Aparentemente, o nosso último artigo, uma edição especial no eReino Unido, assim como a nossa última edição global foram apagadas pelos Admin… Muitíssimo obrigado 😑

Enfim! A Actualização Global de hoje será ligeiramente diferente, pelo que incluirá uma tradução em inglês do artigo. Fazemos isto porque o Global Moustache já tem alguns leitores internacionais que seguem o jornal fielmente e assim, decidimos que o melhor seria fazer uma edição especial para eles e incluir uma versão em inglês
Então, e sem mais demoras, a nossa mais recente actualização global:


Eleições Presidenciais: PTOs

Como com certeza puderam perceber, a mais recente tentativa de PTO da Phoenix, desta vez à eCroácia, falhou redondamente. O candidato eCroata, Fabius, conseguiu quase 3500 votos, contra os menos de 900, conseguidos pelo candidato Pro-Phoenix, Lipec. Assim, e como conseguimos facilmente perceber, a EDEN aqui venceu por uma margem abrasadora.


Para mostrar a tristeza sentida pelos apoiantes do Lipec, ninguém melhor do que o “Menino da Lágrima”

Há que realçar também a situação na eSuiça, onde o candidato local, Paul Proteus, derrotou o partido Pro-Phoenix, acabando assim o PTO que dominava os helvéticos. Esta vitória, muito festejada no pequeno país, contribui para glorificar a EDEN que, como relembramos, encontra-se numa queda gigantesca já há algum tempo. Estas vitórias, no entanto, ficam na sombra de duas derrotas enormes que ocorreram nesse mesmo dia: A continuação do PTO na eAustrália e eNoruega, assim como a derrota em Podólia:


A Libertação de Podólia

Como foi descrito no nosso último artigo (apagado pelos Admins 😑), graças a um erro monumental eRusso, foi impossível para a eHúngria continuar com os swaps com a eÁustria, de forma a libertar Podólia que, como lembramos, é uma região eUcraniana rica em ferro que foi recentemente conquistada pelo exército eRomeno.

Assim, os eHúngaros decidiram recorrer à pequena eEslováquia. Através dum swap aqui e ali, conseguiram rapidamente chegar a Podólia, onde utilizaram os seus MPPs para lançar um assalto gigantesco à região eRomena. Ora, os eRomenos defenderam-se como leões, enviando um exército muito bem organizado para o terreno. No entanto, não receberam qualquer ajuda do resto da EDEN que decidiu abandonar a eRoménia à sua sorte. O resultado previsível acabou por chegar à medida que a eRomenia frente à vantagem numérica dos seus inimigos.


eRomania: Too bad nobody likes you

Assim, a eHúngria acabou com as ambições romenas nesta região. A população eRomena está compreensivelmente zangada com os seus aliados e só o futuro dirá o quanto esta batalha pode ter afectado a moral da EDEN.

eRepublik atacado por Hackers

Como puderam constatar, recentemente um grupo de hackers conseguiram atacar este jogo em força, através de Citizen Ads. Ao clicarmos num destes Ads, perdíamos o ouro que possuíamos, e sofríamos outras penas mais pequenas (como por exemplo ser acrescentado um vídeo da famosa música “Never Gonna Give You Up” ao último artigo que escrevemos).

Como a equipa deste jogo de forma “brilhante” escreveu no seu último eRepublik Insider, “o problema de segurança foi resolvido e o ouro devolvido às pessoas”. O que estes palermas não conseguiram prever é que o hacker voltasse pouco depois, mais brutal do que nunca. Assim, ontem as contas dos presidentes de países como a eSerbia, eHúngria e eUK foram hackeadas. Isto tornou-se óbvio à medida que o eUK atacava todos os seus vizinhos, incluindo os eEUA (activando todos os seus MPPs). No entanto, aconteceu algo ainda mais grave: a eSerbia lançou um ataque em território original eChinês, activando os MPPs deste país, o que significaria que a sua colónia em Liaoning estaria indubitavelmente perdida.

Felizmente, os admins estão a tratar deste problema e brevemente, tudo deverá estar de volta ao normal. Mas que fique provada mais uma vez a falta de capacidade que os admins têm, no que conta a gerir a segurança dum jogo desta dimensão.

Numa nota mais leve: é com prazer que o The Global Moustache dá os seus mais sinceros parabéns à eFrança por ter conseguido finalmente recuperar todo o seu território, agora que o contrato entre eles e a eHúngria foi terminado. Esperemos que, dentro de pouco tempo, eFrança e ePortugal estejam a lutar lado a lado contra eEspanha, como membros da Phoenix!

Anyways! Today’s Global Update will be slightly different, since it will include a specially made English translation. We do this, because Global Moustache already has some loyal International readers who truly deserve this. Therefore, we have decided that, we will include an English translation for this article. 😉
So, and without further ado, our most recent Global Update:


Presidential Elections: PTOs

From what you most certainly realized, the most recent Phoenix PTO attempt, this time in eCroácia, failed miserably. The eCroatian candidate, Fabius, won with more than 3500 votes, against the less than 900 votes by the Pro-Phoenix candidate, Lipec. So, and from what we can easily see here, EDEN has won by a devastating margin.

Also, we should point out the situation in eSwitzerland, where the Pro-EDEN candidate, Paul Proteus, has defeated the Pro-Phoenix party, thus ending the PTO that subdued the eSwiss. This victory, celebrated all over their country, contributes to glorifying EDEN, an alliance that, from what we have seen, has been in a lot of trouble lately. These two victories however, live in the shade of two bigger defeats: The intensification of the PTO in eAustralia and in eNorway, along with the massive EDEN defeat at Podolia:


The Liberation of Podolia

As we had described in our last article (that was unfortunately erased), thanks to an epic eRussian mistake it was impossible for eHungary to continue swapping with eAustria, in order to free Podolia that, as we would like to remind you, is an High Iron eUkrainian region that has recently been occupied by the eRomanian military.

Therefore, the eHungarians decided to ask little eSlovakia for help. By swapping with them, they easily reached the borders of Podolia, where they used the MPPs they have, open against eRomania, in order to assault the region The eRomanians defended their recently conquered land like lions, sending a rather well-equiped and organized army. However, they didn’t receive any sort of reinforcements from EDEN, who simply decided to abandon eRomania, against overwhelming odds. The predictable outcome of this battle gradually arrived as the eRomanians were crushed by the eHungarian vast numeric advantage.

This way, eHungary ended the eRomanian ambitions for this region. The eRomanian population is understandably angry about the lack of help from their allies, and only the future well tell how much this battle has affected the morale in this country.

eRepublik under attack by Hackers

As you have probably noticed, recently a group of hackers managed to overwhelm this game’s security, using Citizen Ads. When clicking these adds, we would lose our gold, along with other “lighter punishments” (such as adding a video of the famous “Never Gonna Give You Up” clip to the last article we have written xD)

As this game’s “working” staff has so brilliantly written in their last eRepublik Insider: “The eRepublik engineers have fixed the security issue and all the lost Gold has been returned to their proper owners.”. However, these brilliant twits never thought of the possibility that the hacker could explore even more breaches in the system.

So, yesterday, the accounts of the presidents of such countries as eSerbia, eHungary and the eUK have been hacked. This became obvious, as the eUK attacked every single one of its neighbors, including the eUSA (activating every single one of their MPPs). Even worse news: eSerbia launched a suicidal attack in eChinese original territory, activating those countries MPPs, which means that their colony in Liaoning would be, without a shadow of a doubt, lost.

Fortunately, the Admins are dealing with this problem and everything should be back to normal soon. However, this incident has again proved the lack of skill the Admins have, in terms of dealing with the security of this game.

On a lighter note: The Global Moustache congratulates eFrance for finally having been able to recover every single one of their original reagions, now that they contract that binded Rhone Alps to eHungary has been finished. We hope that, soon, eFrance and ePortugal will be fighting side by side against eSpain, under the banner of Phoenix!
