Welcome to the newest issue of the Mobile infantry’s newest phenomenon; The MI spotlight!

Mobile Infantry Spotlight

Sadew Shragnor

Sadew Shragnor is a high school student, going into his senior year. Though not quite sure what major he will want to pursue, He is leaning heavily towards a Computer Science or IT degree, and will be taking a camp at Penn State in July to help him choose. He has I've been in a relationship for almost 2 and a half years with his girlfriend, and seems determined to keep it that way. Sadew is definitely an interesting individual, so let’s see what he as to say!

Q: What is your role in the Mobile Infantry, do you enjoy it?

A: I'm a Lieutenant, a CO of a platoon, Bravo 2 to be exact. I enjoy my role, but I need to do more to get everyone (myself included) more active.

Q: As a Lieutenant do you feel commanding a platoon is getting easier or harder as time goes on?

A: Definitely harder. I remember for a while after the API went down I would update player stats for fun, but after it became a chore to do it became... a chore. Another issue seems to be that newbie players don't have the same retention they once did, which is sad to see, I want to step up my game and help newbies out better, but I'm struggling on my own with some of the changes and the economy.

Q: What do you do to help your privates grow into functioning members of the Mobile Infantry?

A: I try to get everyone in my platoon to send them a welcome, often sending out a mail with an updated roster to everyone. In the new recruit’s message I will give them instructions on setting up on the forums/IRC if they aren't already, as well as instructions on voting and commenting on the MI paper I also link some of the training manuals.

Q: What is the most rewarding part of being a PCO?

A: Seeing great privates grow up to higher positions. For instance, when Miles Edgeworth was promoted to XO of B4, though I think he's left the MI now.

Q: After so many questions there is but only one question left… What is your favorite kind of pie?

A: Pumpkin pie with cinnamon of course. I didn't like pie too much when I was younger, but I loved pumpkin pie. Remember kids, pumpkin pie is a gateway pie.

That’s Sadew for you, thanks for reading this issue! You are all dismissed!

If your strength is at least 500 and your battlefield rank is Lieutenant or higher (or you can do at least 85 influence per fight barehanded) ...and if you like pie as much as we do, you too could be a member of the Mobile Infantry!!!

Not strong enough for the MI yet or have no experience with a military group?
Then join the eUS Training Corps!
