Hello and welcome to the newest edition of the MI Spotlight! This week we interview the one and only, AutumnsDawn!

Mobile Infantry Spotlight

AutumnsDawn

AutumnsDawn is a newlywed and a new resident of Colorado, fresh from Anchorage, Alaska. She moved to Colorado for a job her husband got. They bought their house back in November, and have been living there since Christmas. Autumn is the mother of two sons, and of a much larger family in eRep.

Let’s get to the questions!

Q: What is your role in the Mobile Infantry, and what do you have to do in that role?

A: I'm Commanding Officer of the greatest military branch in the eWorld, I oversee the daily events and make sure everything runs smoothly. I work with the other branch head to ensure that MI coordinates with them, including things like keeping orders correct and organizing mass attacks.

Q: Being the head of the MI must be challenging, what is the hardest part?

A: Personnel problems: people not doing their jobs although that's gotten easier over time, having to choose between two equally qualified individuals for promotions, and Interceding when a soldier has offended someone else. the other hard part is making sure my major decisions are the right decisions for the eUSA, the joint branches, and MI in that order without regards to my personal opinions.

Q: Becoming head of the MI must have been a real journey, how did you get to where you are now?

A: I was too responsible. Originally it was never my intention to become an officer, I liked being PXO but PCO seemed like a lot more work however my Quarter Master was not available by the time I got home from work, and I couldn't request supplies prior to going to work. So I kept bugging the powers that be to make me a back-up QM for late night people, the first time I applied I didn't become a QM, and I didn't really want the job full time either. The second time there was an opening I applied and ended up with the job. I ended up getting promoted to QMG and reworked the system to be more efficient. Weathered the changes to V2 and back to V1.5. Goalie promoted me to Executive Officer when he resigned, and I eventually became CO when Tsewell resigned.

Q: On your journey from Private to General, who do you believe influenced you the most?

A: Sojirou influenced me the most however it was while I was still a private; he encouraged me, he answered all my n00b questions, he made me feel a part of things, I wanted to pass that on to others.

Q: Obviously the General likes pie, but which kind do you like most?

A: Blum's Coffee Toffee Pie.

That was the CO of the MI, AutumnsDawn!
Thanks for reading the newest issue of MI spotlight, that’s all for this issue, you are all dismissed!

If your strength is at least 500 and your battlefield rank is Lieutenant or higher (or you can do at least 85 influence per fight barehanded) ...and if you like pie as much as we do, you too could be a member of the Mobile Infantry!!!
