JDS - FREE GOLD FOR YOUNG AUSSIES

Day 2,239, 09:32 Published in Australia Australia by Joey Development Scheme

G'day, Dr Hugh Jardon here and well your Joey Development Scheme has returned and this time we are better than ever with new tasks, new graphics and new rewards! In the next article we will be offering 10 gold in a random draw to you beautiful eAustralian citizens, but in this one we'll cover the new updated tasks and the new rewards...oh yes. No more food or weapons...we are now giving you FREE GOLD for each task completed! Thanks to your kind donations we still have 49,000AUS saved to help out the youth of today and in our next article we'll be asking for donations to help things run smoothly. As before myself and Claire Louise will be throwing in 10gold each month.

So lets kick it off with a word from one half of your new Directors Claire Louise -

Hey eAus!

Claire Louise here. Just a quickie really. First, thankyou to Mick (the good Mick, not the awful one) for allowing both myself and Dr Hugh to run the JDS again. We're currently holed up in eCanada, but as soon as you guys get a region and a congress, we'll be jumping straight back over. Truth is, we miss eAus, and we miss running the JDS. Hopefully this time around, there won't be any nut jobs to deal with.

Ok, you can have your article back now Hugh 😛

The J.D.S is run by your Government but with funds from donations by kind citizens, the aim is to help young players and players who are new to eRepublik since November 2013 who entered the game and need that little helping hand. We are not politically biased and there are no hidden catches, you do not have to pay back the rewards. All you have to do is look at the tasks below, they are very simple and designed to help you adapt into the game and the eAustralian community.

Each task completed will see you receive 1gold, the aim is that you will save it for Training Ground updates because in this game the key thing is strength, and you achieve this by training. The best advice we can offer is for you to save your gold until the admins release an offer on upgrading training grounds...then spend away. The higher your strength the more damage you do which is beneficial to yourself and your country.

We strongly urge you to take the game and tasks slowly and avoid heavy fighting until you have a respectable strength.

Once you have completed a task contact either myself - Dr Hugh Jardon or Claire Louise to receive your free gold.

Task 1 - Join the Australian Defence Force Military Unit - There are many benefits from joining a Military Unit including doing your daily orders set by the MU including daily supplies if you complete those Daily Orders.
The Daily Orders reward you with a 100 energy health bar and a bazooka to be used when you are a higher rank as well, but for now they will be stockpiled in your storage until you reach a certain strength. The Australian Defence Force is specifically there to help young players - those in Division 1 and 2.

Task 2 - Join a political party. Playing a part in the political side is an option open to you but if you wish to represent your country in eAustralian senate then you have to be part of a political party. It also will open up doors to parts of our community you may miss otherwise. Parties can be found HERE

Task 3 - Upload an Avatar. It’s a simple as that! You can upload an avatar/edit your profile by clicking your name on the left side of the screen. Avatars have to be a .jpg image and the ideal size is 150x150 pixels. You can also ask for us to make you an avatar, just comment below and we will be in touch with you or if you prefer you can ask your MU Commander or President of your Political Party.

Task 4 - Have 20 eAustralians on your friends list. You can add people by clicking on their profile and clicking the “add friend” button on the top right of their profile. The more friends you have, the more help and support you will get, and the more you will get to know the community better!

Task 5 - Reach level 15. This one doesn’t take long at all!

Task 6 - Reach Level 20. Again, doesn’t take much effort at all to hit level 20!

Task 7 - Reach Division 2 (Level 25). This will take just a little bit of time but don't feel you have to rush it.

Task 8 - Register on the eAustralian Forums and play a part in our growing community. You will meet many friendly people who are always willing to help you.

Task 9 - Complete 10 posts on the forums. Simple as that, they can be posts anywhere, about anything, so long as they adhere to the forum rules.

Task 10 - Get on IRC. You just enter your eRepublik name and you’re automatically thrown into the eAustralia IRC room!

Task 11 - Achieve your first hard worker medal. You gain this medal after training and fighting for 30 days. They don’t have to be concurrent days, just so long as at some point you have worked and trained a total of 30 days. **COMPLETE THIS TASK TO RECEIVE 2 GOLD REWARD**

Task 12 - Earn 100 strength points through training.

Task 13 - Obtain your first Super Soldier medal (250 strength points). Keep training, you’ll soon get it! You’ll also get a 5 gold reward every time you get a Super Soldier medal, which you get at every 250 strength (250, 500, 750, 1000 etc…).

Task 14 - Obtain your second Super Soldier medal (500 Strength points).

Task 15 - Upgrade your free training ground at least once. Upgrading your free training ground will mean that you will gain more strength every day. To upgrade your free training ground, click on “My Places” on the top bar, then click Training Grounds (next to your companies).
The top training ground is your free one, and it costs 20 gold to upgrade to a Q2 quality training ground. We would advise that you actually wait until there is a Training Ground deal on (you’ll see this at the top of your homepage when the deal is on), meaning that you can upgrade your Training Ground for 45% less gold, so instead of it costing you 20 gold, it will cost you 11 gold. Using this training ground will mean you gain 10 strength a day, instead of 5. As proof of completion of this task we will require a screen shot of the upgrade.

Task 16 - Reach the in-game rank of Sergeant. You’ll get this one pretty quickly too!

Task 17 - Reach the in-game rank of Colonel. Just a little bit more playing this game will get you to this one.

Task 18 - Complete all tasks! Seems daunting, but with a little time all of these tasks can be easily completed.

✰ ✰ REMEMBER THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT SO TAKE YOUR TIME COMPLETING THE TASKS ✰ ✰
