JDS - End of term report

Day 2,146, 13:56 Published in Australia Australia by Joey Development Scheme

Well this is the end of term report from J.D.S for September 2013, included will be additional little statistics as usual...such as how many accounts went on to be banned for being multiple accounts and how many citizens went on to become dead accounts. A lot of time and effort went into these statistics so I would personally like to take this opportunity again to thank my fellow J.D.S Director Claire Louise for the time she took doing them.

Lets get this started shall we because along with the tasks, accounts and a list of the donations this is going to be a very long article -

Well at the end of October 5th 2013 J.D.S is sitting on 30,796 AUD and again has passed the month without applying for our Government allocated budget, in fact we will not even apply for one for October thanks to our kind donators.

We received a total of 34,773.86 AUD in donations in September and this added to a total surplus of 11,518 AUD meant we had a budget in October of - 46,291.86 AUD...AND AGAIN ALL THANKS TO PRIVATE DONATIONS AND NOT A PENNY OF GOVERNMENT MONEY. This month has seen the prices of weapons and especially food rocket which meant we spent more than usual but we did still manage to send out a total of 19,000 Q4 Food at a total cost of 8,820 AUD. Added to that J.D.S. participants received 525 Q7 Tanks at a total cost of 6,675.71 AUD. This meant the total combined outgoings from J.D.S was - 15,495.71 AUD, leaving us with a surplus of 30,796.15 AUD.

We did only see six new applicants in September but five existing applicants returned as they had completed further tasks. This again is a drop and we do remind people that at J.D.S we do send daily PM's to new players as well as regular articles promoting the tasks, hopefully now we are back on the map new players may find the game more interesting. We are proud to announce that no applicants went on to be come dead citizens or have their accounts closed by the admins for being multiple accounts...so no outgoings were wasted.

Further to donations that have been shown in previous articles we have one more to thank - the drifter who kindly donated the equivalent of 468.67 AUD in food and weapons.

J.D.S is an organisation designed to help new and young players further themselves into the eAustralian community as well as helping them at a time where they are short of food and supplies..this is provided in a series of tasks. The tasks are designed to help new players to eAustralia and if you complete any of these tasks then you will receive 200 Q4 food and 5 Q7 tanks for each task completed. When you have completed a task contact Directors Claire-Louise or Dr Hugh Jardon and we will send you your rewards. It really is that simple because your Government really just wants to help you find your feet, there are no catches, you do not have to repay the rewards back at a later date. So, what are the tasks?

Task 1 - Join the Australian Defence Force Military Unit - There are many benefits from joining a Military Unit including doing your daily orders set by the MU including daily supplies if you complete those Daily Orders, In the ADF you receive 8 Q7 weapons per day with further options to increase that.
The Daily Orders reward you with a 100 energy health bar and a bazooka to be used when you are a higher rank as well, but for now they will be stockpiled in your storage until you reach a certain strength. The Australian Defence Force is specifically there to help young players - those in Division 1 and 2, and you will be regularly supplied in food when you attend the ADF roll calls on the forums (more information on that in Task 10).

Task 2 - Join a political party. Playing a part in the political side is an option open to you but if you wish to represent your country in eAustralian senate then you have to be part of a political party. It also will open up doors to parts of our community you may miss otherwise. Parties can be found HERE

Task 3 - Upload an Avatar. It’s a simple as that! You can upload an avatar/edit your profile by clicking your name on the left side of the screen. Avatars have to be a .jpg image and the ideal size is 150x150 pixels. You can also ask for us to make you an avatar, just comment below and we will be in touch with you.

Task 4 - Have 15 eAustralians on your friends list. You can add people by clicking on their profile and clicking the “add friend” button on the top right of their profile. The more friends you have, the more help and support you will get, and the more you will get to know the community better!

Task 5 - Send an in-game message to the current Prime Minister (President). Our current Prime Minister is Flatty. Just pop him a quick message saying hello - he’d love to hear from you, and he doesn’t bite!

Task 6 - Reach level 15. This one doesn’t take long at all!

Task 7 - Reach Level 20. Again, doesn’t take much effort at all to hit level 20!

Task 8 - Reach Division 2 (Level 25). This will take just a little bit of time but don't feel you have to rush it.

Task 9 - Register on the eAustralian Forums and play a part in our growing community. You will meet many friendly people who are always willing to help you.

Task 10 - Once registered on the eAustralian Forums , join the Australian Defence Force section. This is how you would receive your supplies from the ADF, by attending weekly roll calls (which is just posting a quick “I’m here” in that weeks roll call thread).

Task 11 - Complete 10 posts on the forums. Simple as that, they can be posts anywhere, about anything, so long as they adhere to the forum rules.

Task 12 - Get on IRC. You just enter your eRepublik name and you’re automatically thrown into the eAustralia IRC room!

Task 13 - Earn your first True Patriot medal. You get these by completing a certain amount of damage for eAustralia and the game will also reward you with 5 gold for achieving this.

Task 14 - Achieve your first hard worker medal. You gain this medal after training and fighting for 30 days. They don’t have to be concurrent days, just so long as at some point you have worked and trained a total of 30 days.

Task 15 - Earn 100 strength points through training.

Task 16 - Obtain your first Super Soldier medal (250 strength points). Keep training, you’ll soon get it! You’ll also get a 5 gold reward every time you get a Super Soldier medal, which you get at every 250 strength (250, 500, 750, 1000 etc…).

Task 17 - Obtain your second Super Soldier medal (500 Strength points).

Task 18 - Upgrade your free training ground at least once. Upgrading your free training ground will mean that you will gain more strength every day. To upgrade your free training ground, click on “My Places” on the top bar, then click Training Grounds (next to your companies).
The top training ground is your free one, and it costs 20 gold to upgrade to a Q2 quality training ground. We would advise that you actually wait until there is a Training Ground deal on (you’ll see this at the top of your homepage when the deal is on), meaning that you can upgrade your Training Ground for 45% less gold, so instead of it costing you 20 gold, it will cost you 11 gold. Using this training ground will mean you gain 10 strength a day, instead of 5. As proof of completion of this task we will require a screen shot of the upgrade.

Task 19 - Reach the in-game rank of Sergeant. You’ll get this one pretty quickly too!

Task 20 - Reach the in-game rank of Colonel. Just a little bit more playing this game will get you to this one.

Task 21 - Complete all tasks! Seems daunting, but with a little time all of these tasks can be easily completed.
