JDS - A new month

Day 2,269, 10:47 Published in Australia Australia by Joey Development Scheme

G'day eAussies.

Firstly, there is a new round of the fun eAustralian community game 'Werewolf', sign ups can be found HERE and we urge you to join the fun and sign up. The last game was a roaring success and showed that we do have a very active community beneath the surface.

A new month and a new term for our current President Mickskitz and the admins seemed to have celebrated his landslide re-election with a reduction on training ground upgrades. Please remember that increasing your strength in this game is vital and if you are level 29 and under then you can get FREE gold from your JDS department to help cover the costs. Please read the section below about our tasks and rewards for more details and hurry as you only have just over two days left to take advantage of the admins discounts.

Also we thought we'd take a look back at the months we've run your JDS department just to see how many people are still around, how much you have donated in those months and how much we have sent out...all details will be included below.

So far this month we have already started received donations from you wonderful people and it really is much appreciated. We currently are sitting on 50,259 AUD and rest assured it will only be used on gold for young players and not to pay off the gambling debt of our current CP. A large donation came from the players in the eAus media game called 'Werewolf' and details of the winners and their kind offer can be found by clicking on their name below. There is another donation from a young player that will be logged in the next article...thank you.

Donators this month include -
Zarmael - 1000 AUD
Werewolf players - 1789 AUD (100 Q7 weapons)

To kill a bit of time we decided to look into how much help your Government has handed down to the eYouth of Australia. In the 5 months we have been running the JDS we have had exactly 60 applicants to the scheme, of these 5 have sadly gone on to be banned for either operating multiple accounts or they themselves were a multi account but that still leaves a good percentage of applicants received a helping hand.

Our young players received a total of 74,820 Q4 food at a cost of 22,805 AUD in the months before we converted our rewards to gold, since then 95 gold has been sent out. A staggering 1920 Q7 tanks were also distributed to the same applicants at a cost of 21,226.71 AUD. This is a grand total of 44031.71 AUD in food and weapons that largely went to our young players. Last months figures when we converted to gold can be found in our previous article.

Sadly due to the very small percentage of banned players 4000 Q4 food ended up being wasted and 100 Q7 tanks. This totaled 1,687 AUD of donations that didn't meet the objective for which they were sent to us for. We apologise to you for that. However in our months running the JDS you have kindly sent us 93,956.86 AUD and 80.72 gold in the previous month as well...this only includes donations from July 2013 to January 30th 2014.

We can confirm that out of the 60 applicants, other than the 5 who went on to be banned, 19 have gone on to have their accounts die due to inactivity. So that is 36 players who have come through the JDS and are still playing eRepublik. For a small country often facing hostility from significantly larger neighbouring nations and regularly attacked we do think this is a very good figure. Some have gone on to serve in Senate and some have become Government ministers...we hope to continue to forge the future of eAustralia along with your help.

The J.D.S is run by your Government but with funds from donations by kind citizens, the aim is to help young players and players who are new to eRepublik and those players who are level 29 and under. Mainly those who entered the game and need that little helping hand. We are not politically biased and there are no hidden catches, you do not have to pay back the rewards or join any political parties. All you have to do is look at the tasks which you will find in a link below, they are very simple and designed to help you adapt into the game and the eAustralian community. Some of the tasks are as simple as reaching certain levels and even just signing up to the eAustralian forums...they are that simple and you get a gold reward for each one completed.

Each task completed will see you receive 1gold, the aim is that you will save it for Training Ground updates because in this game the key thing is strength, and you achieve this by training. The best advice we can offer is for you to save your gold until the admins release an offer on upgrading training grounds...then spend away and upgrade. The higher your strength the more damage you do which is beneficial to yourself and your country and will see you earn more gold as well.

We strongly urge you to take the game and tasks slowly and avoid heavy fighting until you have a respectable strength.
✰ ✰ ✰ THE TASKS CAN BE FOUND BY CLICKING THIS LINK ✰ ✰ ✰

Once you have completed one of the tasks then contact your JDS Directors who are either myself - Dr Hugh Jardon or Claire Louise to receive your free gold.

If you are a new player and definitely leaving and not returning to the game then why not sell your companies and donate the proceeds to helping young players in the same position as yourself? All monies donated are used 100% on young and new players only. Leave a legacy and help a fellow Aussie
