Enjoying my vacations in Southern Indonesia [eIndo Edition]

Day 969, 03:34 Published in Indonesia Portugal by S.Ribeiro

Greetings, my eIndonesian friends!

Summer came with a lot of opportunity to travel around and visit other countries. So, I decided to finally visit South Indonesia, the biggest province of the Indonesian Empire. Sure, it’s got deadly spiders, snakes, sharks and sheep, but they don’t stop people from coming here. And for a good reason:

This province is really as big as your imagination. There were so many beautiful Indonesian cities that I had trouble deciding which to visit. Fortunately, I already had plans in Sidney. There, I visited the beautiful Sidney Opera House where I attended a great concert by Anggun 😉

It was truly an unique experience!

The people here are very friendly! I once got lost in Melbourne and there were always people who were happy to help me find my way. Sure, I encountered a few problems, such as the fact that I don’t speak a word of Bahasa. It seems like such an interesting language and it is used more and more each day in this province. Luckily, most people here can also speak English 😉 It was thanks to a French tourist that I could find my way in the streets of Canberra. The South Indonesian population there took care of me very well. I was lucky enough to even see a military ceremony with the hoisting of the national flag!

From there, we traveled around the province, visiting many areas of interest. However, along the way, we were unfortunately ambushed by a band of brigands and thieves, that called themselves the Flaming Galahs. There were more than 30 of them, staring viciously at us:

Fortunately, they didn’t count on us being 4. We quickly ate 3 of the sheep, while the rest fled in fear to the dingo infested fields. We never saw them again, but could hear them screaming at night, as we enjoyed a nice dinner in the open. There, I was told that the Flaming Galahs was creating vast armies of sheep and planning to send them to take over the Indonesian archipelago.

Gotta love eAustralian humour

Good luck, eIndo 😉
