eAustralia: First Impressions
MarkTD
My first few days in eAustralia certainly haven't been lacklustre, and I've generally found most of the community to get along well and be friendly.
I'll be honest, I'm not a new player (neither am I an old one (joined in q3 2013 (bracketception(a bracket inside a bracket!? blasphemy!))), nor a multi). There is some heat in eAus politics, but it is nothing like the eternal thriller of backstabs and accusations that eUK's political scene turns out to be within a few months of playing - you should SEE the congress channel!
My old journalism ploys? Well, I did write some successful articles, especially war analysis ones. I wrote some politics ones but they were to help my party along
🙂
I was quite surprised at just how helpful most of the eAustralian players are, especially Dr Hugh Jardon and Marcus Arolia (I wasn't planning on leaving in the first place, but thanks anyway mate). Again, sorry eUK, but most of you aren't exactly beacons of friendliness
😛
Australia is a beautiful place IRL, and it is no less IG, and I don't plan on leaving for a while
🙂
Now, to fish for votes -
Look at that fish
Almost like sex

P. S. It is pronounced Mark Toad

Good to see you arriving in AUS (did they send you on a convict ship? hopefully they will send more experienced players).
What would be seen as a disadvantage in the UK I am sure will be a tremendous advantage over here \o/
Anyway, welcome & don't neglect your rifle drill
noticed an unintended meaning 🙁 send more players with your experience, NOT players with more experience than you - sorry
It's OK lol; I wouldn't say I'm really experienced (I'm not very good at making money), but you're right, eAus needs experienced players 🙂
Great to see you writing mate, you'll fit in beautifully down under with us
😃
Thanks Dr Hugh 🙂
.o/ welcome mate!
Great to be here, Kerna!

also, just because reading your last comment made me giggle ..
Its 28 degrees Celsius, windy as hell, is pouring down, there's thunder and lightning, and for the last 20 min its been hailing on and off as well.
Like I said, beautiful country 🙂 if it's any consolation, my cousins had to flee East in England after their holiday house flooded 😛
.
Ouch..
After writing that comment, in the 10 min I showered to go out for dinner with the folkses, the rain stopped, the wind became a soothing cool breeze, and there was not a cloud to be seen..
lol
Moodswings?!?!?! Um, I think I should just slowly back away...
Are you near Melbourne? Sounds like weather near me!
.
Sounds like it, but no. South-west Sydney actually 😣
\o/ fishie
Welcome
I adore fish, they're such badasses, but so overlooked ;_; Great to be here Jack!
.
😣
I had to do it ...
Morbid Curiosity will get the better of you 😛

That looks, um... Tasty?
Voted for the pics!
I have about 10 fish tanks here of mainly African Cichlids and I adore marine fishies (though I don't own those). 🙂
Idk what it is about the Brits but there are some that are a little off 😛 but you will find that anywhere including Aus XD
