Go through some of the previous articles, idea's and random thoughts about changes in a game which no one wants to change 😃

Posting every new article in this serie in a different country. Hoping to reach that media mogul medal. Guessing it'll cost me a lot of gold and a keyboard.

Determination, they changed the rules a bit. Let us keep them. However, and keep in mind (if you actually read the previous articles) the movement penalty in the form of time and the way regions can be attacked and defended, what about the determination increase that is influenced. By what? Strategically speaking, occupied territory is occupied. So maybe to keep influence increase acceptable you need to station troops in the region. A large empire will need to spread out its troops to contain any war, be it a real or a training war, which will impact its borders and make them more vulnerable as they expand.

Next article, I'll be presenting a reaon to actually expand 😉

As to soldiers to occupy.

Would be great if that influenced determination.

Country A occupying region A.
Everyone with CS in country A can influence the det. Of region A by moving there.

Determinations increases based on % of CS licated in a region. If 4% of populations is located in a region the determinstion wil go up fast if 30% of cs is located in the region determination will go up slowly.

Yes, I'd have the occupier determine the rate of increase, usually the occupier is the stronger/larger force, having more regions to keep subdued would mean spreading the troops out. Add to that the different other ideas, the larger the empire the more difficult it'd be to keep it.

The effort for the occupied should not be in troops, maybe a certain supply of goods to the Resistance in the region to put pressure.

Just ideas, how you'd need to get the formula's right to have a nice balance between strategy and raw power you need more data and smarter people
