Can we fight in peace?

Day 610, 06:04 Published in USA USA by Hekter

Everywhere I look there's an article denouncing the 'great evil' that is the PEACE Global Community, but to what avail? I agree that what they're doing directly goes against their own charter, but that's no reason to call them "greedy, misguided" and "totalitarian" for their actions in Canada and the United States.

Sure, if they had PTOed Canada or the US I would be frothing, but the truth is this war is being fought the way the game mechanics design it to be fought. Alliance to alliance. Wall to wall. Military to military. Soldier to soldier. Just because we're losing, that doesn't make the winning side satanic.

What I don't understand is why more people cannot approach this conflict with the attitude that it is a game, and a sense of irony. America has invaded [well, attempted to invade, lately] several countries in the past--Russia, France, Mexico, Portugul, and Canada. (So far the only country we have a border with that hasn't been at least attempted to be invaded at least once is Japan) PEACE invading us is not much different than Operation Taco Bell, is it not? They have little to gain other than the excitement and glory.

So, please, save your energy for the battlefield. Follow the Department of Defense newspaper from Eugene Harlot and contact your Commanding Officer to see how you can get involved. Sign up for the Training Division if you haven't gotten involved in the military yet.

Just quit hurling the insults. It doesn't get anyone anywhere.
