Who wouldn't want the ability to airstrike another country? Think of the options it would give us, plus it would be fun if we actually used it.
eCanada's airstrike is set for currency, like really set we have 168,820 donated when we only needed 66,667 CC, but we only have 734,646 energy out of the 6,685,500 energy that is needed, so it is time to contribute food to finish this thing off and to get our country the ability to hit somewhere were we have never been able to hit before.

Can you tell us what is an Airstrike?, why dont we invest all this money and energy in eCan agains eSpain isntead of launching a war in other border?
An airstrike is simple attacking a region that you don't have a boarder with. The money is sitting in the airstrike account and you can never get it back. It has been sitting there for about a year. Food is pretty worthless so would not take much effort to donate that.

That is your treasury balance, you use it for MPP's or donations for your military
Exactly, Sweet Drinker! I don't know where the rumour that we can't use that money for anything else comes from. It is simply false. If we spend $67k on an airstrike all we're going to do is lose $67k.
The food is the only thing that is stuck in there and I don't think it should be encouraged to spend more money and send more good food in after bad.
you can strike anywhere on the map with the airstrike. I do not know why people donated so much currency to the airstrike and so little food.
The money is already there though so might as well finish the energy section, if people had extra food then why not contribute to there country, they probably could not get much money from selling food anyways.
While there have been some donations the vast, vast majority has been raised through taxes.
Simply compare these two pages and you'll see, the currency listed on the airstrike page is the same as what's in our treasury:

If Canada rejected me, the world is the next step forward.
How about we use any money we were going to spend on an airstrike and buy 6 or 7 MPPs or give it to the MUs? We could also give the food we'd otherwise be wasting with an airstrike to players who need it.
The money needed for an airstrike comes from our treasury. It is a waste of money to spend it on an airstrike against a country we probably either won't defeat or would have real difficulty occupying. It would also be a huge waste of food and money spent on that food just to see it disappear for an airstrike.
Plus launching airstrikes is not very Canadian of us

You may want to consider correcting your article now that you know the facts. I mean I appreciate the effort you've made but the sooner we can warn off people from wasting their food, the better, no? My comment is rather far down the article for that.
people can get food if they need it, is Doctor of Souls not still running his MoH? lots of people have extra food so why not donate it to the airstrike?
Several reason. First, if we don't make the food goal then all the food already donated would be wasted. Secondly, even if we do meet our goal, since the money for it comes straight from the treasury, there is a good chance we'll choose not to launch an airstrike, so that food would be wasted. Thirdly, because the food could be put to much better use if we were to give it to new players like the Doctor of Souls. That food isn't free so there's a limit to what the good Doctor can do. 3 million Q1 food would do him and our newbs much more good than wasting it on a pointless airstrike.
