[SFPOM] Race to Party President:

Day 3,189, 21:55 Published in USA USA by Jimmy Cincinnati

Issue #29:

The SFP is a Democratic Party. We express no rights over those we govern. The only right to govern is expressed through a mandate by the masses.

All of the Presidential Candidates were asked to answer a list of questions that were suggested by other Socialist Freedom Party, Members. There was no reply from bootmii.

Wookie Jack

Q. What do you hope to achieve?
A. Improve party relations, Perception focus for BC, and continue developing the new blood.

Q. If someone makes a proposal to repeal the dictatorship law, would you vote yes or no?
A. Yes.

Q. Name the last three party presidents. (There is a section of the forum with this information.)
A. Myself, Tom Cauchon, J.A. Lake

Q. How active can you be and what's the best way to contact you?
A. I'm here every day. I can be contacted by message in erep, forum, WhatsApp or email.

Q. Name at least one influential player.
A. Max McFarland

Cerb

Q. What do you hope to achieve?
A. I think the current SFP leadership team has done an exceptional job tapping into the two-clicker audience and bringing people out to vote and participate, especially in light of the objective truth that the game is declining.

However, I have observed that the SFP struggles to build Congressional consensus, and is often reacting to legislation proffered by more senior, more respected players. We could segue into a historical debate on how and why this came to be, but the bottom line is that my name tends carry at least a little weight in the right circles.

My notion is to be proactive in dealing with other parties, and to support responsible legislators and responsible legislation.

Also, I plan to encourage on-site forum usage (i.e. the main eUSAforums, not forumotion). As the community shrinks, it's important to stay connected if we want to play different games with our eUSA friends in the future. Sure, you give up some autonomy I suppose, but realistically the eUS admins have a very minimal approach to intervention.

Q. If someone makes a proposal to repeal the dictatorship law, would you vote yes or no?
A. Although this type of proposal is Flavor of the Month with roleplayers, I haven't seen any functional benefit described. I would certainly vote 'No'. I'm OK with roleplay, but when the rubber meets the road, you have to respect game mechanics.

Q. Name the last three party presidents. (There is a section of the forum with this information.)
A. Including the current PP, this list would include:
Wooky Jack
Tom Cauchon
J.A. Lake

Q. How active can you be and what's the best way to contact you?
A. I'm readily available by forum PM on the eUSAforums. I have moved away from IRC in recent years, because it is an archaic communication medium developed in the late 80's.

I'm also available by game PM.

Q. Name at least one influential player.
A. I presume you are requesting an influential party member, and for everyone in the SFP, please don't interpret this as a weighted response. I'm not making a statement as to who is the MOST influential...

I will say that TheNorm is one of my favorite SFP members. He was always plugged into the functional mechanics of the game, which obviously is a perspective I align with. Also, I believe I appointed him to NSC in my second eUS POTUS term.

Thanks to Wooky and Cerb, for participating and good luck to the SFP.
