我開始玩電子共和國 285天。

First let me introduce myself.

I started playing eRepublik on day 285.

I served one term as President of Singapore, four terms as Congressman, 3 terms as Minister of Finance, one term as Chief of the Singaporean Navy, one term as the Mayor of Austin Texas in the US, and have owned and sold businesses around the eWorld since the beginnings.

As Taiwan is a new country it has great need of a stable government, a stable currency, and an organized defense. The people will elect leaders to form a stable government, at which time the currency can be stabilized at .02 gold per TWD. This is reasonable rate of return for the cost of printing currency and offers great opportunity for investors to build companies and offer jobs. As Taiwan has no natural resources our economy will have to be based around exports to foreign countries.

This will require a strong diplomatic effort to lower import taxes on the goods we produce and keeping our import taxes low on raw materials. These two factors will allow us to build a strong economic engine to provide us with the income needed to grow the country.

An organized defense is needed as we have already had threats against this country upon its birth. I propose a similar strategy as Singapore. A rapid response force composed of higher level players who can deploy as needed to assist any future allies, a home guard division of all players to ward off attacks, and government run weapons industry turning out weapons for export and for storage for any future attacks. This also assures low level players a job and exposure to training in how to play eRepublik.

Finally we enjoy playing eRepublik and like to have fun with the game. This is not real life and no one has an exclusive claim to any portion of this game. If you live in Taiwan in real life great. If not you have as much right to live here as anywhere else. We hope to work together for the future of this nation.
