Treasury Staffing Announcement
Bank of England
I hope you will join me in welcoming my new team
Permanent Secretary Director of the Reserve Bank of the UK
This is Vinners. I have introduced Vinners before. If you look out his profile, you’ll find he has bags full of experience. He is a wise head, and a steadying attitude. He was my first, and most important pick, and I’m glad I chose him.
Senior Analyst
timyoung. In a brief career, tim has already proved he has a sound grasp of facts and figures, wants to squirrel away to the bottom of things, and his main interest is the welfare of the citizens of the eUK. Another bonus is that he is an economist, and that he also, in many ways, disagrees with me on ways forward. This sort of healthy analysis and criticism can only help to make my decisions stronger.
Senior Trader
This is BombadierBeetle. BB and I locked horns some while ago, discussing our mutual interest in high finance. He said he was looking for a junior government position if he could help, but his qualities shone through to me.
Arbitrage Traders
Craig Rossiter. Craig has filled just about every post in Government, is a self-starter, and has a huge appetite for work. All this on top of an impressive application. I’d have been foolish to turn him down. I don’t think I’m foolish. Craig will run the ‘West’ accounts
Mal_Reynolds. Mal is more than a player with a big gun. His application proved to be thoughtful and insightful, and I have a feeling he will seek out the best deals for the eUK in his trading account. Mal will run the ‘South’ accounts
Blueniel. Again, Blueniel really impressed with his ideas to make money for the eUK in this role. I have no doubt that his ideas will become reality with the hard work I think he will put into the role. Blueniel has been given the ‘East’ accounts.
Bowen199. Finally Bowen joins us on a learning curve, but has already proved himself to be a chirpy and eager to learn member of the team. I have no doubt that before long at all, he will be trading at full capacity and for the benefit of the eUK
I therefore give you this, my team, for the coming term, and hope you will join me in congratulating them.
Please do allow me to take this final opportunity to thank my predecessor in this role, Arthur Wellesley. He has left a very big pair of boots under the desk at number 11, and a note. It says, simply, ‘Fill Them’. It's a tough job,but that is my full intention.

Dill, you have made very wise choices. It is tempting to surround yourself with "Yes" men. You have instead chosen talent and competence. Thank you.
