The Party Politcal elections are now complete - and the UKRP has a new Party President - Darkmantle

DM is an intelligent, articulate, energetic and dedicatated politician who ran a faultless campaign to emerge as a clear winner in the polls. I congratulate him for his fine victory and look forward to serving under his leadership over the month to come.

DM's win once again demonstrates the importance and effectiveness of a well executed mailing campaign and emphasises that in elections it is necessary to mobilize the large number of Party voters who are not active on IRC and Forums.

Total votes last month: 184 Presence: 36.95%

Turnout was very much the same as last term, with 60% of our Party members failing to turn out to vote. Maximizing our voting potential is clearly an area in which we are going to have to work hard on in the coming weeks.
