good to have these back Keith
The results are in for the "mechanical votes that don't really make a difference" awards.
Also love the use of Abstain instead of "Took the congress medal money and ran away and did nothing all month" LOL (Party leaders please stop picking people who do that?!)
It seems, according to Artela, there are only 2 categories of members, people are either "mechanical voters" or "Abstainers". She overlooks the fact that there are actually people who vote "yes", or "no", or "abstain" according to the particular issue being voted on and their personal view about it . Or is she the only person who adhere's to that principle?
Stop being so obtuse. Real congress business is about discussing things that affect the country, like should we start new TWs, should we go to real war, should we fund x extra initiatives... not just voting yes or no to routine donation items! There is no personal view on the mechanical votes - it's just following policy to get donations through. And your deliberate obtuseness is most of what is currently wrong with this country... full of ostriches so long as the gold keeps flowing from TWs!
In your view, Artela. But not everyone thinks like that. You're entitled to your view as I am to mine. .That's called democracy. And it's fascinating that you seem to think you know me well enough to decide that I am being "deliberately obtuse". (which I'm not, by the way).
Rewriting what I wrote to fit your narrative is at best being deliberately obtuse and at worst a very obvious attempt at gaslighting. I'm used to people who manipulate like this IRL, so you aren't going to get away with it here. I will always call out BS when I see it.
Yes I remember when you called out my correct explanation of how the congress election system works as BS. You then told me how it worked. You were completely wrong so I would
not put much faith in your BS detector
Oh look it's one trick pony Keith with his "any excuse to try to insult and troll other people". How far the TUP have fallen having you in charge ;_;
This imported American-style baiting is unacceptable
SHA - tell that to Keith, and look in your own wheelhouse first. Y'all are obviously not usedd to people who stand up to you and give it back x10
I dunno if whining whilst doing nothing qualifies as 'give it back' but yeah, cheers for all your hard work o7
You started it without knowing anything about me you accused me of lying about how the system works.. and you still haven't apologised!
Good stuff, Keith. Always informative.

Due to not being involved in speakering I havent collated data this month, but would reiterate artelas comment that whilst useful as a blunt measure Congress activities go beyond ingame votes. It would be interesting to see if we could identify or agree some standard reporting to compile as a uk-data-service type thing.
Out of interest, Woldy, what constitutes "Congress activities beyond in game votes" ?
I’d imagine engagement in the discussions and debate is an easy one.
Yes debates, discussions, non-admin votes. There are for example only 27 unique contributors to the congress thread this month, and a couple of congressmen who refused to join the thread to begin with, so in game votes tell only a small part of the story. Some participation stats have proved particularly insightful in the past, I can try and produce them routinely outside of the speakership if people are interested from a transparency perspective. As always it is any individual Congressmen's or party's prerogative to boycott Congress as a stance (or ignore it whatever word people prefer) in itself, but it would probably be a useful thing to have recorded.
It's also useful context to measure the volume of debates, it has for example been quite a quiet month!
I am not boycotting the thread I have not been invited. OBv I would temp have to unblock and 'friend' the current speaker. Don't think he is too bothered about me not being there.
Keith he has invited you multiple times
He knows I have blocked him so I won't have got any of his alleged invites. He is totally unfit to be speaker
He invited you in multiple article comments and on National feed wall posts that you participated in.
I know you can see them because I’ve blocked SHA and I still see his article comments and wall posts
Much to our mutual annoyance...
He did not invite me
He invited everyone just by having the threads. He said in multiple places anyone missing can friend him and he'll add them in. The fact you can't see those is because you blocked him. That's YOUR problem, not his.
looks like there weren't any meta votes at least ones I have been made aware of
a few of those abstain votes were from people who have long since left the game. They will probably appear in your next appropriate article.
Ay up the UKRP
Also no surprises to see the usual suspects complain about their own comparable inactivity ^
Just saying that 78% of our number of congressman is 12.
When that’s double the size of UKRPs Congress it’s a lot easier to get a slightly higher percentage.
No surprise to see those sorts of comments from you either really. You may as well all be one party, most of the time you all speak with the same forked tongue. You all come at Spamicans purely because it's the Spamicans, and then get all butthurt when we retaliate in kind. I don't know what you expected? A giant has been awoken and will not be still or be quiet.
You’ll eat your copium and like it I guess
See you on the 5th again o/
I have no idea what that is. If that's your schtick then I hope you enjoy whatever it is!
Lol
Alright grandma ^
Oh, look, the racist homophobic guy has a thing against older women too - quelle surprise!
Nice baiting

Activity on Keith's metrics, sure... basic click a vote button stuff. Look to my alternate metric - actual engagement by raising those proposals... oh look. UKRP zero percent.
I’d like to propose a ban on the expression “y’all”
Propose away - I can ignore that just as much as I can ignore the other "suggestions" on conduct 😛
voted
I do have a suggestion for a possible improvement to the stats that would show activity - the stats for who (person+party) actually raised the proposals in Congress.
OK, having just done those calculations I now see why they are not included LOL
12 in game proposals (including todays)
2 by TUP (same person both times)
10 by TRS (from 7 different people)
By this metric - percentage of each party's active engagement (raising proposals) in congress is as follows:
TRS 83.33%
TUP 16.67%
UKRP 0%
WRP 0%
Goats 0%
That's hilarious, I did wonder.
So by your metric, if I were to suddenly raise 20 spam proposals...?
Mongress have a functional ingame job that Keith simply reported on, not sure why TRS are unhappy with it short of making their own article
SHA - I was reporting on THE FUCNTIONAL IN GAME PROPOSALS - just the aspect of who was active enough to actually raise the d*mned things instead of monkey-see-monkey-do the Yes button 🙂
Well surely that's the point - why would I raise spam proposals just to add to a daft calculation?
Not really a very useful metric, of course you can BS stats anyway you want. Like Number of congress members who voted in all votes TUP 6 Spam 4 UKRP 2 WRP 2 and Goats 0
At least you know you’re BSing your own stats then
That stat was an example of BS stats. The ones I use in the article are the same I use every week and show the voting record of each person and each party
Yes, the ones you use are the monkey-see-monkey-do pavlov button pushing stats. Real useful. LOL
