What Does It Mean
First off, the way "low" and "high" resource regions is changed. All regions now are considered "medium", and have one "rich" resource which is provided above or on the region's society page. A raw material company in a country with a rich region of that raw material will yield a 25% boost in productivity. The company having to be on the rich region is seemingly no longer required.
All of the raw materials are now in "food" or "weapons" groups. Grain, Fish, Cattle, Fruits and Deer are food resources. If a country has a rich region of one of these resources, food production companies will get a 5% boost in productivity. If they have all 5, they get a maximum 25% boost.
The weapon materials are Iron, Aluminum, Oil, Saltpeter and Rubber. They provide productivity boosts for weapons companies in the same fashion food materials do.
The absence of Stone, replacement of Titanium, and re-categorization of Oil means that Moving Tickets, House, and Constructions companies are cut from the game. How moving will work or if there will be another form of free healing to replace hospitals is yet to be disclosed.
Oh yes they di-id.
The owners of the companies in the cut industries will get the first crack at creating a company in the new industries. They also get a one-shot feature to change their company to any industry they want. Company creation in all of the new industries is currently disabled.
The ability to have more than one company in the same industry will apparently be added. The ability to move companies to different regions was also brought up as a possibility. This should cut down on people going broke after botching company creation.

No tit(anium)s for you!
Hehe thank you for the info.
lvl 23 and still learning. ^.^
Good article \o/
Kinda funny that we don't have deer, but the admins made sure that no country had more than 5 resources in their original regions.
Also, no more low regions is good for new business owners who mistakenly open RM companies.
All in all, looks fun. The global race for high resource regions begins now. GO
Let's start with Mexico and get their Saltpeter and Rubber!
Nice new signature. Oh yeah, and the article was good too 😛
I just learned how to handle the others, now we are up for new ones? LoL Thanks for the info as always, I knew we could count on you.
I just don't care any more. I am sick and tired of the changes and lack of communication with Admin. I am going full 2 clicker mode till all subsides down. Including no blocking for a while.
