CertaCito - UKRP Candidate for Northern Ireland - August 2009

Day 635, 13:25 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by certacito

So - what an entertaining month we have had so far!

Noteable occurences include:

- Leaving the grey world of neutraility to take up arms on the side of PEACE
- Gaining many (and losing many, but not as many as gained) new overseas territories
- Seeing a substantial drop in death rate (due to increased levels of interest)
- The eUK economy continues to thrive
- Average eUK health and experience levels dramatically increase

On a personal note, I too have been busy

- Made it to Field Marshal (at long last) - and without ever leaving eUK!
- Completed my 18th consecutive term of office as member of congress
- Been promoted to Colonel of the Royal Guard
- Added another two companies to my portfolio of businesses
- I have become reasonably proficient with manipulating IRC and operate in both fixed and mobile roles

By and large I have managed to achieve all of my objectives as laid down in my last months manifesto; so, where do we go next?

Firstly, I wish to see a continuation of this months action - this will include a lot of fighting (in a very smart and controllled manner). I also would like to continue the gradual reform of the Royal Guard (in a controlled and uber-safe manner) in order that we can continue to increase our military effectiveness.

Secondly, I see that it is essential that we bring on the next generation of new talent to take on some of the ever growing roles and responsibilities of government and military operations. I am acutely aware of my own time constraints - and have seen many others take on too much - then burn out like an over-voltage lightbulb! The only way to survive in this world is to pace yourself and not take on too much. Those that do tend not to last too long! In my book the best way not to burn out is to delegate large chunk of responsibility and power down to the young and upcoming talent. With a litle guidance and huge amounts of trust, these youngsters will become our leaders and managers of tomorrow!

I intend to be around for some time yet - it is my intent to complete an unparallelled 19th term in office representing the population of Northern Ireland. Although being badged UKRP, those who know me well know that I believe in cross-party cooperation - I do NOT support counterproductive cross-bench sniping as it is not good for the Government or the People of eUK!

So - please, whether you be UKRP, unafilliated or any other political party, I can assure you hat if you vote for me in the oncoming Congressionl elections, I will do my utmost best to honestly and reliably serve your interests in the eUK House of Commons.

VOTE CertaCito - for a 19th Term!
