Hi to everyone! After more than 2 weeks of analysis with our CP, we decide to try something new, something that we excpect that will include us in the center of the International commerce!
We are going to reduce the VAT to 1%!!!
This is a very dangerous maneuver, however, if we achived to sustain it, we are going to allow: the raise of Salaries in Israel, and to low the prices in our market, we excpect to see offers from people outside eIsrael, that of course they will need to buy a license of 20 GOLD once, and then they will be benefit with the oportunity to sell in Israel FOR LIFE!
So, tell your friends over the world! Yes VAT at 1% in Israel!
If you have any doubt, or suggestion, ask me!
Thank you all.

Voted! I sent a law to reduce the VAT on weapons to 1% as it's not possible to make it 0%, the value must be between 1% to 99%. Anyhow, I have no law proposals left, so some other congress member should propose to reduce the VAT on food to 1%.

problem of Israel is volume; both on the supply and demand side.
On the supply side, not many people have export licenses to Israel and it appears as if Israelis don't engage much in trade either😒 (If I had license for Israel I assure you weapon prices would have been lower😛).
On the demand side, those who can buy abroad will probably do so. Getting VAT to 1% is not gonna solve the problem, just reduce it a bit. But, IMHO not enough to compensate for the loss of taxes from this reduction.
ok now that I've appeared as a smart-ass, do I have anything to propose to solve the problem? Not really😛 I'd just encourage people to buy cheap abroad and sell it in the market here, as well as committing to the 1% Import in the long run, so more people would be convinced to buy an export license to Israel
People like me, who take an active part in the trade business and always trying to improve the eIsraeli economy, are satisfied by this change. Now I can sell tanks and food in low prices for Israeli citizens by the market, something that I wouldn't do if the VAT was higher. The incomes of our country are mostly from the work tax, a little bit from the VAT on food and we have almost no gain from the weapons VAT. Now we, and people who have Israeli license market, can sell their goods here, as I've already said. The incomes of our countries are going to reduce a bit in the next months, but hey, we can't improve ourselves without taking risks, am I right? So this program might succeed in the long term.
Personally I think that letting our citizens to buy goods in a cheaper price, without moving to other countries, is way more important than an income of 250 cc a day. If the price goes down, then our goal has been completed, if it doesn't, even in the long term, then we can still have the feeling that we tried, we didn't give up.
Besides of that, we would like to encourage people to buy an Israeli market license, but our problem is that no one buys from our market as the price is high. If more citizens will sell in our market, there will be a competition and the price might start falling down - more buyers and lower prices (our goal).
This is my opinion as an active citizen in the Israeli community, or maybe even the most active one in the last year. But hey, it's just me, right?

Setting VAT to 1% is a good idea. And, it will increase the number of world citizens buying eIsraeli licences.
Another alternative idea is to station some eIsraeli citizens in major countries like ePoland, eSerbia, eArgentina, etc, and have them monitor the eIsraeli market. When there is a significant price difference, those eIsraeli citizens can buy from those countries and sell to eIsrael.
I was doing this during my FF tours and I earned a good penny.
The problem in Israel is that the community doesn't take an active part in the economical side of the game. We can always buy goods for cheap price and sell it in Israel, but it can be risky as the Israeli market isn't active (no buyers). However, now when the VAT is 1%, I can buy weapons from a citizen (not by the market) in a cheaper price than the market. Then I am able to sell it in Israel with the same price as in other markets.
Trade - in my opinion this is the best way to help the market in the long term and earn good money as well. Keeping big stocks of weapons/food that have been bought for low price, wait till the price goes up and sell it then in a low price comparing to other markets. This way people from abroad would buy the goods too and the country can make some incomes. It worked in the last time.
I confused VAT with import tax. Yes, keep VAT as low as economically possible. This will encourage trade, help the sellers, and also help the buyers (so they don't have to spend a ticket or NIS to move to another marketplace).
However, my intention was to raise the import tax. This will give eIsraeli traders an edge by discouraging foreign competition. It will help keep the profit to eIsraeli players. The problem with that, as you said, is that our community doesn't really take an active part in the economical side of the game. That or our low population.
One of the targets in this move is to attract foreign sellers to sell in our market, mostly because of the reason that our community is carelessness about our economy. If we had only our own market (by high import tax), be sure that the prices would be high comparing to other markets.
