Viado's Defense and Foreign Policy

Good Afternoon Australia. This is the second of my policy articles.

Foreign Policy
I am a strong supporter of Australia's involvement in EDEN and the Brolliance and I wish for us to continue to maintain strong ties with those nations. I also want to see stronger ties with South Africa, who we have helped militarily, and now need to help politically and economically. Emerging countries such as China, India and Japan will also be important to Australia's foreign policy in the coming months and it will be important to continue developing ties with those nations. I also want to see an improvement in relations with Indonesia, but this will not be possible while Indonesians are attempting to PTO Australia. As a powerful neighbor it is in our best interest to have at least a neutral border with them, but that neutrality must work both ways. If the Indonesians are unwilling to stop attacking us politically, then there can be no peace with them. My Minister of Foreign Affairs will be Vorodor, and he will be assisted by Timeoin as deputy, and Easy Off Bam as an Intern.

Defense Policy
I am a supporter of a strong, organised military controlled by the government. I believe the Australian Military in its current form is in quite good shape. I'm not saying the setup we have is perfect, some changes and tweaking are needed. This is to prepare the military for V2 (but really it doesn't need to be too quick, we don't know when V2 is coming). I will be consulting with the MoD, Chief of the Defense Force and the Military Marshals before implementing any changes. They are all experienced members of the Defense Force and can provide me with knowledge on areas that need to be improved. My Minister of Defense will be Widdows9000 with Schoft as the deputy.

My final policy article will be published on Wednesday and a complete cabinet list will also be published then.
