In case you didn't notice, Plato gave the New World two new missions today. For some (rea😛eBabies), they actually might mean something. Some people don't know to join an MU, but in today's New World, membership in an MU is the way to go. Who's going to complain about a free bazooka (NOW WORTH 10,000 DAMAGE POINTS!) and a free energy bar - both of which you receive after completing your daily MU orders?

But in the grand old tradition of "looking a gift horse in the mouth", the Citizen Feed today is filled with whining about the missions that essentially gave most eAmericans free stuff.



Let's take a look at what we got for FREE today.

- 1 ENERGY BAR

- 10 Q2 RIFLES

As of this writing, a candy bar costs 5 GOLD and one Q2 rifle goes for $11. So basically, we received 5.22 GOLD for doing NOTHING.

Another gift given to us today was the "upgrading" the bazooka weapon. Instead of 5,000 damage points, we can now lay down 10,000 damage points per use. Bazookas are still three use weapons, but with this "upgrade"; one bazooka is worth 30,000 damage points instead of 15,000! But some people are even complaining about this.



Funny thing about this... just recently in a Rizon IRC chatroom, some "hard-hitters" were complaining that bazookas were actually hurting them, since they hit with over 5,000 damage points using Q5 tanks. This upgrade fixes that, but still people complain.
