I want to personally thank the 38 people who made it possible to win my eighth term in Congress. To be completely honest, I am surprised that I had more votes than Pfeiffer, who ran in Florida. California and Florida were once what we called fortress regions and have a higher population than most regions. It's an honor to receive so many votes. I only know of three that were directed there, so that leaves 35 votes from people who just decided to vote for me. Thank you.
