I have chosen to run this campaign honestly with much integrity. I won't make promises during the campaign that I can not keep. I will vote in the interest of the people living in the Southern Low Amazon on all issues that they give me feedback, which reminds me I will be setting up a feedback topic for the Southern Low Amazon region of Peru if I am elected into office.
I can promise the voters that I will work hard to be compromising and accepting. I am willing to bite my tongue for the unity of this wonderful nation. I don't speak Spanish but I will have everything translated into this country's native language in the spirit of cooperation. That leads into one of my political beliefs, bilingualism. This country will work best when all of her people can communicate there ideas and opinions.
If elected to congress I hope to have a transparent stay in the office. I promise, few of those are made with me, that I will act purely as a advisor to public opinion and to allow the people to control me as their representative. To do this I will get the names of all citizens of the Southern Low Amazon region on the day of the elections and send them private messages whenever there is a bill up for vote in congress. Also, I will be taking advice on what I should use my two proposals for.
I would like to see the military become more organized as well as the country as a whole. It is a strong belief of mine that immigrants improve economies and secure a nations power, so... I am pro-immigration and I hope we will be seeing much more it. Also, I do plan to influence the new government to try to establish economic and military relationships with other South American countries.

He decidido iniciar esta campaña con honestidad e integridad, no haré promesas que no puedo cumplir.
En el Congreso votaré por los intereses de los habitantes de Southern Low Amazon, estos intereses serán transmitidos a través de un foro especial para la región, donde podremos discutir los temas.
Prometo trabajar duro e incluso morderme la lengua para lograr la unidad de este país tan hermoso.
Yo no hablo español fluidamente, pero tendré todo traducido al español gracias al espíritu de la cooperación. Esto me lleva a una de mis premisas políticas, la pluriculturalidad y el bilingüismo. Este país trabajará mejor si todos sus ciudadanos pueden expresar sus ideas y son escuchados.
Si soy elegido congresista tendré un periodo transparente y prometo ser un interlocutor entre el Estado y el pueblo, para esto tomaré nota de todos los ciudadanos de Southern Low Amazon el día de las elecciones y les enviaré un mensaje privado cada vez que haya una propuesta en el Congreso. Seré muy cuidaoso al usar mis 2 opciones de propuestas de Ley.
Me gustaría ver el aspecto militar más organizado así como a todo el país. Estoy seguro que muchos migrantes pueden ayudar a mejorar nuestra economía y nuestro poder defensivo, por eso soy pro-migrante y espero ver a muchos más por acá. También pienso impulsar una campaña para que el nuevo gobierno establezca alianzas militares y económicas con los países vecinos de Sudamérica.

I like your article but mainly i have 2 observations:
1.-You quit your job, i mean you were elected but right now YOU AREN'T acongressman.
2.-In the Peru's Forums where congressmen make the rules you have 4 POSTS, just FOUR!!!
How do you explain that?

Me gusta tu artículo pero principalmente quiero que me aclares 2 puntos:
1.-Tú renunciaste a tu trabajo; es decir saliste elegido congresista pero te fuiste del país y perdiste tu curul.
2.-En el foro donde los congresistas debaten las leyes, tú sólo tienes 4 POSTS!!! sólo 4!!! cómo puedes trabajar por el Perú si te vas del país y no haces acto de presencia donde se debaten las leyes?

2.The official Peruvian forums are extremely difficult to stay in the conversation because of the in and out of Spanish and English... so I typically would discuss on IRC and in PEP congressional chat. Traducción de Google -

Robert, I had the same problems as a congressman, except for the quitting part. The fact that not everyone posts in both languages makes it near impossible for English only speakers like us to keep up. And also, I like the fact that your trying to translate but honestly, Google is just a bad idea, all meaning is lost.
Is there a better translator you can suggest??? Also, its not so much that its not bilingual bu5t that its half bilingual. Spanish then English, its half way and that's more confusing pure Spanish.
