Happy 2012 to everyone. Just in case you have forgotten, 2012 is the year that the world will end. No need to prepare... we just shift into nothingness. Be extra nice to your family, friends and pets... and be especially nice to your enemies, for you will be sharing nothingness with them for eternity.

Well... my term (mandate) is coming to an end. I was honored to have served Switzerland to the best of my ability. Soon I will be turning over the reigns to our next President. I wish him the very best. Being CP of a small country like Switzerland is no easy task and more often than not... a thankless one.

I wish to thank all of my Ministers for their hard work and dedication. Every last one of them really made an effort to do what's best for our small country. I have been very proud of my choices. Please remember their efforts and thank them personally:

They all wanted a piece of us this last month of 2011. There was the ever-present Slovenia and then two surprise visits. The first from eUSA followed closely by eSerbia. We had finally come to an agreement with Slovenia to keep two regions! We haven't had two regions for at least six months. I was riding high.

I am afraid that I am leaving my successor in the most precarious position:

All I can say is that I hope our next CP will succeed where I have failed. I won't use the "game mechanics are against small countries" excuse... but I'm thinking it. 😛

But being CP was a wild ride and I am grateful to the citizens for granting me this experience. Would I do it again???......... Hell no!
