Huey George for CP - eUK economy & taxes
Huey George
Further explanation to the economy and tax policy from my manifesto in my previous article
I would investigate options to increase wages, not by increasing the minimum wage however by trying to increase the price of weapons and food.
One way I think we could achieve this is to reduce the amount of weapons and food on the eUK market, production and supply is currently outstripping demand.
One solutions is outlined below
- Increase the import tax on weapons. - This means the weapons used in the eUK is more likely to be from the eUK market and more likely to be produced in the eUK my its companies and citizens.
- Increase import tax on weapons and food raw materials. - This would increase the cost of weapon and food manufacturing causing less weapons and food to be made
- Reduce Income tax to encourage spend, Less to the Government, more to the hard worker.
- Reduce the VAT on weapons and food. Less to the Government, more to the hard worker.
All my proposal would need careful consideration and wide discussion to discover all the implications before and of course support of congress before implementation.
Fundamentally I think we need more government involvement in the economy, it's been over 5 months since anything changes have been made to the tax system of the eUK, over the same period we've seen a massive drop in wages. I know Q7 weapons didn't help however I'm sure the right government can turn things around.
I'd also like to again invite you to consider joining the Workers' Rights Party.

voted mate, great work as ever o7
Sir,you got yourself a vote!
Thanks Samoss and zokamegacar 07
one funny thing in eGermany is how expensive is everything, and its economy is double in size than eUK, so they should have cheaper prices, ... where is the trick? Blackmarket, eUK has great smugglers. And any tax over some pretty small value makes blackmarket to flourish. I can give even names ( or you can find them in the market too).
I am sorry but you have no say what so ever on the global economy. Whatever taxes you implement the eUK market is still effected by the global one and you can't raise the prices yourself.
"- Increase the import tax on weapons."
Rising this is actually the wrong way to go. Right now no one sells tanks on the eUK market unless they are in it because the tax is already too high. If I sell my tanks on the eUK market right now, I get 14 per tank. I can sell on the Polish for a good 24+.
"- Increase import tax on weapons and food raw materials." - Less would not be made. You can't tax WRM or FRM sadly.
Increasing the tax on weapons seems silly. You are not changing the amount the worker in the eUK actually gets and this method in no way links in with your third idea.
"- Reduce Income tax to encourage spend, Less to the Government, more to the hard worker."
At current rates, this is still negligible money we are talking about.
"- Reduce the VAT on weapons and food. "
Still, taling minimal amounts here. So basically you don't want to be able to afford MPPs?
I am on Carlini8 with this except that UK citizens sell weapons on UK market they bought abroad.
Huey George I do like you positive attitude. It is something I would like to see more in UK.
Thank you Alphabethis, Carlini8 & Niemand for your comments and analysis.
Carlini8- Our say on the global economy maybe small however my article was suggesting a eUK government could have a say on our own economy. I also believe the eUK could afford its MPPs/Alliances under this proposal.
Two points of clarification
The article didn't suggest an increase VAT on weapons ONLY import tax.
The article suggested increasing import tax on WRM & FRM NOT VAT which you are correct is not possible.
Great article and hopefully people will give you a chance with their votes
