*my friend need's me to print him an article here*
Hello, citizens of South Korea.
I am writing this presentation to express my concern for the
well-being of our nation, offer my help, and request your support
for the seat of Congress. It's no surprise we're ranked number 41
In the world. Is it because we have incapable citizens? No, our
average level matches that of the rest of the world. No, what we
have to blame is our poor economy and lack of business in the
country.
In my eReupublik career, I have been to The United States
three times, Norway twice, Russia, Romania, Switzerland, and Italy.
But, never before have I seen such a nation in economic peril. We
cannot possibly think of expansion or war UNTIL we can get our
economy on it's feet! As congressman, I can be your agent to do
this.
There are two main ways I will go about fixing our economy.
The first is to increase population, which will in turn increase
business. This will create more jobs (Has anyone else noticed
that there are NO construction jobs available, at all?) and create
more companies to destroy any harmful monopolies we may have. My
first, short-term goal is to bring new, cheaper food industries
for our citizens. I am sorry if I offend our current food COMPANY,
but not everybody can afford Q4 food every day. This may be a leading
cause of our lack of population.
Thank you for reading my speech. If you have any questions,
please feel free to PM me (Omega Link) at any time. And please -
support Me (Omega Link) by voting up this article, if you would mind
the small effort. It would really help my cause, and help bring
assistance to our needy nation. Thank you.

Thank you, Heymans.
Questions or comments? Comments are fine, but I would recommend PMs.
There are other food companies, though admittedly the supply is erratic even in the best of times.
To be clear: This presentation is for ME, not Heymans. Although I'm sure he would make a good congressman, if he were running at the moment.
Endy: That is a good point, so I will not have as much work to do. The goal here is to get them to be stable, so we can rely on them in the future 🙂
You seem to have travelled around a lot. Are you just in Korea for the congress medal?
Notice where they're being hosted. In the party that was stolen by foreigners through an election bomb. 🙂 If you're loyal to Korea fight against these foreigners and help keep Korea in the hands of the Koreans.
KyushuDave: If I were planning such a deciet, I would simply have not chosen to share my background. No, my mission is to make an impact on society by helping a country in need.
Yonai Keiko: While I respect your opinion, we will have no chance at fighting anyone with a weak and unstable economy.
ugh not this again.
Yonai: it seems there has been a mix up. I asked 2 of my friends to come to SK, to help the congress be more active. I plan on candidating presidency soon, so I wanted to make sure the congress is ACTIVE.
Ask aarons.. I'll help stop the PTO now :/
Sorry for the mix-up. So hard to trust people these days. Friends of brodie are friends of mine. Welcome to Korea.
Yonai Keiko: Thank you, and I'm glad to have your trust 🙂
Having been left alone to enjoy our actual freedom we have over the last 2 months......renationalised over half of the KRW in circulation, produced Q4 food afforadable to 90% of the population, flattened income taxes across the board, began exports in the region of 25Gold per week, raised enough KRW to actually pay new citizens, seen the average wage rise by over 50% and the national wellness of active workers rise from 50 points to 85.
We lack construction industries not from want of trying or lack of native RM but due to the fact that we have only 6 workers with over skill 3 in construction and many of them will not leave their current companies.
Increased labour will not mean more businesses, it will mean increased productivity of the 14 or so we currently have in exsistence - half of which are in the low profit Grain sector. You may tho' have the effect of increasing the availability of Q2 food from Kings Dinner (which has the best business model in SK).
Increased labour will not break up the only monopoly we have (which is the SKWeapons company) as it is recognised as the SK people's armoury.
But you are right - not everyone could afford Q4 food (and by everyone that means eCitizens with under a weeks work experience) even when it was priced at under 0.1G per unit, the price of which has now risen to the world market value because of the influx of 'New' SouthKoreans.
Q4 food price has never been the cause of low population as proven by the fact the companies been in exsistence for about 1 month but more to the fact that every time we get some breathing space or a clear shot at going for glory, a group of neighbours pitches up, announces all our efforts in vain and full of phail (without understanding the situation on the ground) and after wasting our cash and driving citizens and companies away - we have to start again.
I agree too. If only Gibraltar Holdings was a citizen, everything would be sorted out.
Heymans in Romania as I speak. Can we be sure he will stay for a day. Will he even last a week. I think not, so vote for me!
Heymans explained that in the forums, which I don't recall you having even signed up on.
Gibraltar Holdings: I regonize that it is now possible to buy food less than q4, which means good for the players with less experience who could not previously afford the q4.
I would like to say that I have nothing against your company, but I did however believed that the lack of lower quality food available made it difficult for lower-level players to make a living. My goal here is not to force you to lower the prices of your company, but to increase the number of food options available for those who perhaps could not afford it.
Neon Seravee: Why should we vote for a candidate who is already thinking about war when our country is powerless and vulnerable? We don't even have any alliances. And if you're not planning for some type of military action, what use would wasting gold on a Five Star Hospital serve?
Why should we vote for a candidate who - stripping away your misfounded statements on SK economics has only the msg of;
"In my eReupublik career, I have been to The United States
three times, Norway twice, Russia, Romania, Switzerland, and Italy." & "I want to increase the population." ?
Gibraltar Holdings: The poor economy of South Korea is it's biggest problem, and needs to be adressed before anything else.
The point is - you don't know how to fix it because you don't know how it is currently running.
Therefore your only points are ^.
South Korean economy seems to be performing adequately for such a small vulnerable country, due in no small part to the efforts of Gibralter Holdings. Whilst I welcome newcomers to South Korea, being an immigrant myself, I don't think any newcomer who rubbishes Korea and the Koreans efforts to improve this be is going about making themselves friends here the right way. Please come here and help us build a better Korea and get yourself a political career but don't feel you have to belittle what we have in order to get on yourself.
KyushuDave: I meant no offense, only to emphasise what I believe are our biggest issues, to show what I plan to help fix if I am elected congressman.
Kyushu: They hold a monopoly of the place. Few people can afford the food offered by them (21 KRW for Q4 food..my salary would be 28 KRW)
When I come over with mah land skill, and Link & Skooma will help me, we will indefinetly lower the cost of food. Break the corporate trust's monopoly of the place.
It's true - I made Korean Kuisine waste their gold by making them buy an export license to Mexico, I also crushed them by not buying any Korean Grain not to mention offering my employees a minimum wage of 20KRW (now 26KRW)regardless of skill and promising to invest in their wellness, allowing them time of to go to war (even offering tickets) and other sundry employee benefits and promises.
If your employer is not looking after you, paying you enough or incompetent then your issue is with him/her.
I've resisted the tempatations to start a grain company, a low Q food company and weapons factory to avoid accusations of 'monopoly' and I've also turned down ministerial posts and (if it wasn't for PTO's) my eCitizen would not be involved in politics in any way, shape or form as I don't want accusations of bias to be levelled my way.
But, I give you your wish!
The day you arrive in South Korea - PM me, I will remove myself from the SK markets and you may have the freedom to do as you see fit.
If it makes any difference, i cant afford the food lol
Thats cos KK is paying for your current skill and wellness not your potential.
Gibraltar Holdings: The issue lies not with inadequate wages, but the fact that the only food available makes it so that only higer-level citizens (Such as Heymans and myself) can make a good living.
However, what of the lower-level citizens? The problem isn't with you or anything you're doing wrong, it's the lack of cheap q1 foods that lower levels would need to make a living on.
It takes a matter of days to get yourself a skill 2 worker and a week more nets you a skill3 worker.
If you are willing to sub them till they are level 3 and drive their wellness up to 100 then there is no problem.
But too many companies operate on the same rules as almost every other company on the planet.
Hey bro, I'm 5.5 skill in land and will be at least 6 skill before I move here. Between me, Link, and Skooma, we can make 60 grain a day. That's around 60 food.
No2kevlin: I assure you, I'm not interested in this petty badge. Believe me, I don't need the money. And if you can't take my word for it, then I am sorry of the image of deciet I am apparently giving.
I support Omega Link's canditature, as well as Skooma Dean (if he is even running?)
Second Heartbeat: Thanks for your support!
lol we should just give control of the entire economy to alfagrem.
As a fellow candidate, I would like to express my utmost support for your cause, and wish you luck in the election. Buon Natale, friend. / 동료 후보로서, 나는 당신들의 대의에 대한 내 최대한의 지원을 표현하고 싶습니다와 선거에 행운을 빕니다. 나탈레의 안녕, 친구.
By the way, to prove monopoly is a bad thing, there is still no food available for purchase at the moment.
Well, I'd like to thank those who have expressed their support, and to those who've given patience over these new ideas. Hopefully I've gotten somewhere, eh?
There was no food for a reason (aside from the fact I occasionally sleep) - All the maths, theory and what-if's have now been worked out and the food is back on the market.
