Ide like to say the following, Encouraging people to buy only irish is great on paper however, this just means citizens pay more for there products, and companys make more of a profit, and workers will rarely see the benifits.
PureIrish always sell the cheapest products possible, and fully beleive in a competitive market, not one that the government attempt to control! Its citizens right to buy whatever products they wish, and also there logic to buy the cheapest product.

This is odd. Pure Irish Guns are selling at 6.06 IEP. 9 companies are selling cheaper, including 5 G-Irish ones, the cheapest being 5.89 IEP. Any look at the market on any given day, and a G-Irish company is among the cheapest, if not the cheapest. Some company owners take the opportunity to let people know that their profits stay here in Ireland, and some citizens like the opportunity to help their own countrymen who sell cheap goods. This has in fact made the market more competitive, thus lowering prices. Hence, the market price is at 5.89 IEP, and Snakeyes price is 6.06 IEP. It would appear you need to become more competitive yourself if you believe in a competitive market.
Up until 2 days ago, nobody sold under 6IEP, ive always sold at 6IEP, I will lower my prices shortly by 0.5IEP to ensure we are fully competitive 🙂

The irony is that you ARE an Irish company. This is not government control. There is no retribution for citizens who buy foreign goods. We are merely giving those who wish to support Irish companies during an economic downturn the ability to distinguish said companies.
The power has, and always shall remain with the consumer. Your non-participation confuses me. But to each his own.
In other words, you were happy to take in the profit by keeping the price artificially high.
