5 February 2010, Day 808 of the New World. The typical election for the President of the eUnited States can be called within the first hour of the polls opening. This is a consequence of a large electorate and up-to-the-second reporting by eRepublik. Congressional races in fortress regions and Party President races in large parties also observe this effect. Last month’s Presidential election between Woxan and Jewitt was atypical in that the candidate who eventually lost actually led for the first fourteen minutes. We appear to have returned to predictable Presidential elections, with it being possible to call the results of this month’s election less than an hour after the polls opened. Josh Frost’s lead is significant and consistent enough for him to emerge as the clear winner already. The race for third place is much less clear at this hour.
