Following the events of day 1,234-5 when eSerbian occupied regions of East of England, North Dalmatia, East Srpska Republic and Tyrol were liberated and both eCroatia and eBosnia were returned to map in Operation Liberty (http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/day-1234-operation-liberty--1740083/1/20) it remained to be seen if this action had been a 'one off' or if a tide had turned in Central eEurope.

Sources close to the action had suggested that the loss of eRomania would result in a similar operation failing as the battle in eRomania has contributed to the 100% success of Operation Liberty. eCroatia President Frutek666 however remainded resolute commenting "f**k eHungary, we kill them too! Our plan is made." However the best made plans of mice and men do often go astray and yesterday morning appeared to be such a case with an early RW in Yorkshire eUK. Commenting on this eCraotian MoD zdlemmy said "It is part of the Greater Plan, we expect Yorkshire #1 to drain damage and end 14:00 erep time". Following this he dashed off to meet eRomanian MoD elbanderas82... Our source in the Balkans says "We can only guess at the flurry of Diplomatic activity that must have proceeded the precision of the next attacks, nobody would answer questions as to when or where, we hear rumours of eUSA involvement..."



At 14:30 erep time the Eden and Terra forces stuck, launching 5 RWs in Brcko (eBosnia), Lika (eCroatia), Vidin (eBulgaria), Maramures (eRomania) and the last remaining eSerbia hold of eUK Yorkshire #2 in what was codenamed Operation Roman, later eAusria would the party in an RW against eHungary. Commenting at the start of what were to prove resounding victories eRomanian MoD elbanderas82 said "Fight eCroatia, we aim to drain in eRomania". It later transpired that eUSA had started Yorkshire #2 remove the eSerbian threat to N.America and during the European night many eUSA soldiers were seen in the Yorkshire Battlefield and later eCanadian Armed Forces appeared there too having already fought in Alentjo. Commenting on this CAF Commander PDP said "It was a strategic decision according to orders, we deployed to eUK because they have MPP with eUSA and we can watch hit Alentjo and watch Yorkshire", meanwhile Crimsons were busy in eBularia with Temujin, as ever, at their head.

As the RW Maramures (eRomania) reached 6 - 0 and with all other battles firmly in hand eRomanian MoD elbanderas82 ordered all eRomanian troops fighting in eCroatia and eBosnia home to concentrate on returning eRomania to the map. Later still we saw eHungarian and eFYRoM attacks on eBulgaria which were dismissed by the eCroatian Commanders as "drain attempts - we stick to plan".

As the casualties piled into makeshift hospitals the injured were heartened by the news from the front and eCroatia President, Frutek666 urged them on saying; "Just a very little more my Hero's and we have them broken, we stand 7-0 in all fields, do not cease unil the battle is won". As one all casualties obeyed and a final effort was made... Gradualy the results came in; Alentjo held by eUSA, Brcko (eBosnia) liberated, Lika (eCroatia) liberated, Yorkshire (eUK) liberated, Vidin (eBulgaria) liberated and finaly the unexpected last hope Maramures (eRomania) liberated. Sadly the eAustrian first RW in Burgenland failed but has since succeeded.

Commenting on these victories, all won 8-0, eUSA President, Emerick said "Its like a dream"; eCroation MoD, zdlemmy commented "the eCroatian army have perfomed superbly"; eRomanian MoD, elbanderas82 saying "Great work by all". eCroatian President, Frutek666 is said to be "chuffed to bits, which is what we have made One".

Our correspondent on the ground comments "There is no doubt now that Operation Liberty was not a 'one off'. The success of Operation Roman proves that Eden and Terra are working together and together can defeat One. Eden and Terra forces have combined to liberate and restore to map eCroatia, eBosnia and eRomania. This has, no doubt, put heart back into Eden and the victory flags of eCroatians are all around. It may be that tide of the Balkan wars has been reversed, certainly the eSerbia threat to North America is removed and combined with the resurgence of the Balkan nations poses new problems for an North American invasion."
