Background Check 101
Christian Doe
At the bottom of the comments of my article about The State of Citizenship, there is a great post by fellow Congressman Citizen B where he explains how background checks are performed. I am reprinting it here in a separate post since there are only two days left to the current term and Congress will need to make good use of their remaining citizenship passes.
"It's simple to check a citizenship applicant out (Congress Members take note):
a) Check their friends list. If they have friends in high places in other nations, or if they have a lot of friends in an enemy country, skip them.
b) Check out their shouts. If they claim to be Canadian, but their shout is in Arabic or Hungarian - chances are they are not Canadian. Skip them.
c) Check out their donations list. If they are donating to or from, lets say, the Party for the Advancement of PEACE GC, skip them. If they were getting daily weapons from Indonesia or Russia, skip them.
d) Check out their newspaper to see what articles they've written. Go back to the beginning. If its in Farsi, skip them."
There used to be a good tool to check out where a specific citizen fought in the past, but unfortunately the site is currently down. But as you can see, performing background checks is easy, and it's a bit difficult to hide something in this game.

Awesome. Anything to expedite the citizenship process and help those people in limbo is cool beans in my books.
Exactly.
Great article

Thanks Christian. But I'm not sure how to check another's donations list?
The eRepublik Plus script adds link on the citizen's profile page to their donations history (and fighting history, in case you want to check which side they fought for).
It's a great tool.
Oh, and check out the eRepublik search engine at http://erepublikse.co.cc" target="_blank">http://erepublikse.co.cc if you really want to go crazy on a background check.
holy crap!
I'm all over teh internets
I'm just here for the french tickler samples.
Ou peut-on voir la liste des dons des citoyens?
We're all all over teh internets Pimp!
"If its in Farsi, skip them."
Wow.
Q1 ticket only for 0.195 GOLD.
The point is that we have a baby boom right in front of us. Congress gets 240 citizen passes per month. That's an average of 30 new active citizens every day. Congress must use those citizenship passes to help Canada grow in population. By growing our population, we grow our economic and military strength. Use them, but use them wisely.

@ Wilhelm who wrote "Thanks Christian. But I'm not sure how to check another's donations list?"
Click on their profile, click on 'donate', then click on 'all donations'. You will want to especially go back to the beginning of their eLife.

Neat.
sooo..... does this mean all more people will be getting their citizenship granted! thats good news for canada.
Great 😁
@Christian Doe : Merci pour l'info!
This is indeed good news. I've wandering in limbo without my Canadian citizenship since I went to NK to help prevent the Shao Lin take it over. I've applied over and over but have meanwhile voted three times in Belgium waiting for my request to be granted. Anything to help streamline the process would be helpful!
Great article! voted HARD 😃
