Army Ranger Wing: the Irish Special Forces
New Faustian Man
The Army Ranger Wing is a new Special Forces unit based in Ireland. Its Irish title is Sciathán Fianóglach an Airm, the term 'Fianóglach' deriving from the 'Na Fianna', a group of legendary Irish warriors.
About the Army Ranger Wing and its Personnel
The aim of the Army Ranger Wing is to defend the Irish Republic and its allies.
As a Special Forces outfit tasked with engaging in the heaviest and most sustained fighting, the unit requires all members maintain the highest level of preparedness for any and all operational requirements. This involves being deeply motivated, adhering to a tough training regime, possessing operational flexibility to ensure mission success and a willingness to deploy anywhere in the world.
Operational Objectives and Roles
The Army Ranger Wing's roles are divided into conventional and specialist deployments. These include:
- Typical offensive operations;
- Raids: spearheading assaults into enemy territory;
- Sabotage: instigating DAMAGE-drain wars;
- Diversionary Operations: starting Resistance Wars or assisting them;
- Defensive Operations: fighting to defend important regions;
- Counter Insurgency: suppressing "Resistance" in conquered states;
The Ranger Wing's primary and over-riding focus however is:
- the securing of resource-rich and strategically-significant territories
Normally this will mean prolonged encampments in regions along enemy borders, repelling attacks and doing everything to defend the territory.
TERRA Supply
The Army Ranger Wing is integrated with TERRA supply through our Rizon channel. No daily supply is offered. A Ranger must self-supply.
Mercenary Tours
When not deployed the Rangers will actively target MERC MEDALS, this means touring and fighting for allied countries.
Ranger Requirements
To become a Ranger requires a high-level of self-sufficiency, plus the ability and dedication to maintain a tough training program.
If your interested and fit the requirements, then please PM the Ranger's Commander New Faustian Man.

>Irish
>TERRA aligned
>Ireland is not in TERRA
Wait what?
Ireland may not be. But Irish citizens and Irish MUs are not beholden to fight for EDEN exclusively. Any Irish citizen can opt to contribute to the wars of TERRA nations if they see fit and fight for them exclusively if they wish.
The Army Rangers will be fighting for Ireland and TERRA nations and not dumping our limited damage into humongous EDEN-ONE conflicts in the Balkan quagmire where we have only negligible impact. I think this is the sanest approach for all small- to medium-sized MUs.
good man, like the name
eFrance has already an unit and better than you purpose with our EBZ.
You should tell how many players will earn to they join yours !
Its not intended as a French Special Forces unit. I'm just in France atm to fight the Hun and the Poles. o7
