[DEPI] Updates: TWO on board with Government plan, PM responds to issues
eAus Department of Information
A joint DEPI and DoDaNS article.
TWO AGREE WITH AUSTRALIA'S TACTICAL MANOEUVRE
The Prime Minister has spent today speaking with his fellow Country Presidents and Prime Ministers in the TWO alliance and has achieved support for a tactical swap-over with Poland.
Until the Polish Indonesian solution was reached Australia continued its campaign north into the Indonesian territories and successfully started to take over the country winning Maluku Islands, Lesser Sunda Islands and Kalimantan.
Prime Minister Gatto said the lack of communication changed timeframes, not results.
"When all is said and done our victory over Indonesia remains absolute only in a different way. The Polish entrance means it will save time, effort and money on Australia's part. We will support our Polish allies in their campaign on Indonesia and in exchange they will wipe them from the map for us and we will have peace by force".
Mr Gatto addressed concerns from citizens on our continuance into Indonesia given Poland's anticipated entrance.
"Let me make this very clear so it cannot be understood or spun in any way whatsoever: Prior to this matter we had none, zero, zilch communication from the Polish Government on their timetable to enter. We had none, zero, zilch communication from the US Ambassador to Australia that the United States and Poland had reached agreement on border access from Hawaii. We had none, zero, zilch advance notice from Poland they intended to proceed when they did".
"When all is done though that's of little consequence. All that has changed is time. Poland is one of those very unique, consistently strong allies who never fails. Australia will be the beneficiaries of their commitment in the Pacific, we will achieve the same set of goals that we had before their entrance into the Pacific and we will have security for a long time".
The Prime Minister has reported great success with TWO.
"I've been in touch with TWO Secretary General JamesW, a good friend, as well as colleague presidents from some other allied countries. The plan has a consensus and I am pleased this has been addressed so quickly".
"My thanks be to the Polish Government for their strong sense of brotherhood. We call them "Broland" down here for that reason - and good reason it is. They are good friends and I say to them - dziękuję! "
When asked about the political issues of recent days Prime Minister Gatto thanked his supporters.
"My rock--my staff-- Deputy Prime Minister Ranger Bob and the dedicated members of my Cabinet for their advice and support through what has been an interesting couple of days to say the least. Especially Treasurer Infin, Minister Callum, Assistant Minister bk83 and Special Counsellor Tim Holtz".
"My thanks also goes to the leaders of my political support bases for their unwavering brotherhood - and sisterhood in the case of Larni and Molly Jo. I miss her humour and I wish her well with her RL and hope she comes back soon. I even miss having Cody Caine around. I wish my lifelong eRep brother DMV3 would come home to me".
"The Australian Government remains as strong, determined and undeterred by negativity as it did on day one and I will continue to do my best for the country as I always have. Thanks very much".
Battle orders are out since yesterday to not fight for Australia in either Indonesian battle so that Poland can take them from Indo next.

voted... nice article
Nice article but no matter what spin is put upon it, the only word that belongs with tactical here is blunder : (
Lets see if we can make things right
How was it our fault because Poland decided to proceed and not co-ordinate timing? If only we had a diplomatic contact in TWO that could have prevented it.
Oh yeah .. Flatty - our TWO Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
epicfail
my two cent, flatty is/was working under you. If he stuffs up, the blame is on you (as you are the CP).
There is no double standard in terms of "I take credit for the good" and let my underlings take the bad.
Either there was no communication between the two country, or you as CP did not put the right personnel in charge to establish the needed communication.
And I take the responsibility for my staff that failed to do their job. I should have never appointed them to begin with and I wear that.
However, I was one voice out of many in Flatty's TWO election and I abstained from attendance from the vote because I know what he's capable of. Luckily he won't be there much longer because the SG's proposing a manifesto change to abolish the position. Then we can focus on the wars and what matters.
Cheers srg
In no way can any of this be down to Poland, nothing needed to be coordinated. It would be obvious that Poland would attack via Papua -> Malaku ->Sulawesi ->Kalimanan.
Australia would move Lesser Sunda Islands ->Java ->Sumatra.
A two pronged attack splitting Indonesia's defense.
Instead we went Lesser Sunda -> Malaku right in front of the Poles who now cannot proceed.
Mick, are you saying Flatty was responsible for this? I don't think so - wasn't it you who after firing him made that choice? Correct me if I am wrong here - you appear to be blaming him for someone else's blunder.
Attempts to get Indonesia to take a region back are being stopped by Indonesians fighting for us to ensure we keep it aided by Australian retards doing the same thing.
Thank God the war module is so bad - otherwise how badly we suck at strategic choices would be magnified greatly ; (
I think this explains everything. http://prntscr.com/1ycgxv
Our CP thought we were allied with eUSA.
Flatty are you stirring? He is the CP he should know exactly who Australia is allied with & what the latest developments are
No, just making things clear and wiping my name. Mick stuffed up. It's as simple as that.
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... negativity? Ok well then I am sorry that I was so negative against our CP being dictatorial to a party and trying to hand pick its leader even though they had nothing to do with that party. I am sorry I could not stand by as you would not vote for someone in PP elections because he was not from Australia. And I am sorry that I got so angry that you were firing ministers just because they disagreed with you and quite rightfully at that. And im sorry you cannot stand the thought of someone not thinking of you as some natural born leader who is some hero from the feckin sky's!
I lost track after the cry cry
It wasn't a cry. In fact I was quite amused
Amused by your own lack of common sense? I only ask because nothing of what you fonted out there had any relationship with reality.
But I am glad to see that your trolling skills are well and above your commitment to government. If only you could put the same commitment into doing your job you may have made a half decent cabinet officer. Shame you have been so misled by miscreants and halfwits.
Ministers can disagree all they want but as you're new let me fill you in how it's always worked here - all Executive Branch members serve at the pleasure of the Prime Minister.
And BTW as you are aware not all were fired. Pat, Nicky and you resigned (and I have a copy of the ultimatum you sent me if you have a memory issue) and to-date the only termination I made since taking office was Saiwun for gross incompetence in DoD by not following the scheduled workload for his dept. and not doing one thing since he came to the job.
I was told by many in Flatty's govt he was lazy.
In other news, the Prime Minister killed a bear with his bare hands in order to protect a village full of young children and puppies.
BEST.. COMMENT... EVER....
he reminds me of Putin now
Putin killed a bear? Only a socialist would know.
Out come the Reds with their suppressive style of government!
No thanks - I'll take freedom o7
http://www.cracked.com/article_19128_7-reasons-vladimir-putin-worlds-craziest-badass.html nah but putin dropped a tiger... its kinda close
So basically we get nothing for fighting in Indonesia now. Sounds a bit like spin to cover the fact we blocked Poland. No need to fight there anymore now just let the Poles take over.
We do because Indo need to regain the regions so Poland can take them. If I had it my way Poland could have taken the regions from us but neither SoFA or dSoFA Flatty - failure that he is - let us know when Poland was going to come in.
It was only via Tim that we learned of the US agreement on Hawaii to border. Poland still hasn't made any contact. The TWO SG has stepped in to correct Flatty's failure. Don't worry - all is back on track.
Hard to blame Flatty when as CP you should have noticed the NE law passed by Poland.....
I noticed the NE law but no one said anything to me about their strategy. As we co-ordinate with TWO I would have expected my then Minister for Foreign Affairs to have been on the ball - which he admitted he knew nothing about it and he talks with Flatty regularly.
I take responsibility for my poor cabinet choices but I have no control over what happens at TWO. You need to understand better how it works. CP = 1 vote. As far as the chain communication containing SG, SC and TWO CPs nothing was mentioned. The first I heard there was a problem was when the SG messaged me and there was no intimation of blame towards Australia. What else do you want to know?
I'd like to know what other strategy Poland could possibly have when they NE'd Indonesia other than attacking Papua....
Look at it from my chair. For the week leading up to this we had priority TWO support, we were winning battles and our strategy was supported with no communication in sight to the contrary. Then out of nowhere Poland enters directly into it. I'm not blaming them and I appreciate their help, but their communication with the Government was non existent.
The preliminary work up to this unknown to our Minister of Foreign Affairs and to our Minister of Defence and National Supply. Did you know of this plan? If you did you certainly didn't share it with me.
Just saying mate be careful of the finger pointing here because both of you were in key Cabinet positions whose portfolios fell directly into this line of enquiry. I hear the recommendations of my Cabinet and all I heard daily was whinging. There are better ways to raise gripes in a positive context.
You only found out via Tim Holtz? You know you could have got that info from the same place Tim did, by reading the US news.
Please do not tell me you are bringing that clown back into the Aus Govt.
especially after getting rid of good Australian players.
Geez Mick, what is happening here - you started out so well : (
I think this explains everything. http://prntscr.com/1ycgxv
Our CP thought we were allied with eUSA.
Again like you spammed on the other post where did I say that you idiot? So the Americans sent us one of their Ambassadors. So what? Does it mean we're allied? No it doesn't - and I never said that. Nice try fool LOL!
LOL you're not doing yourself any favours here. You thought Poland and the USA were doing 'region swaps'. Hahaha that is just embarrassing. Poland (our ally) has been at War with the eUSA for ages, everyone knew that... except you. http://prntscr.com/1ycgxv
This wasn't my point. I was saying I don't want to go and fight in Indonesia just to help Poland take their regions. I mean, really, how many do they need? At the very least we should be taking Sunda, Java and Sumatra so we can get a couple of resource bonuses from those 3 regions (Java is a repeat but we need it for the transport route). I don't want to fight for Poland to help them get more regions. I'd rather go and work on my mercenary medal and wait to fight for Australia in battles or RWs that come up. Is my understanding wrong? Will Australia be holding some of Indo's regions while they get forced into an NAP? Also have you thought of swapping Tasmania with an iron region from NZ?
Funny how u try to tell us that u did not know and your staff wasn't chosen wisely and bla bla... Why didn't u asked Mr. President?
I admit it mate - I made some bad Cabinet choices.
[removed]
in the time it will take them to respond best to hold ground for now otherwise indo will be in nt
Poland needed to be in Sulawesi first for any relinquishment of ground I think we should have held have held till then
as for the petty bickering too much goes on here sounds like butthurt really
build a friggin bridge
There can never be more butthurt than there is in eAustralia - and it's always the same people.
You cannot spin a Blunder as big as this one
This is what happens when TJ is running a mostly one man show. I suggest that the CP find some more staff to fill the gaps.
Not my fault that out of the few people that remain most are idiots. After all .. Chile. #awkward4binda
Who's spinning? This is poor trolling even by your old man standards
I think this explains everything. http://prntscr.com/1ycgxv
Our CP thought we were allied with eUSA.
Maybe our allies have to spell it out for Mick to understand
Again like you spammed on the other 2 posts where did I say that you idiot? So the Americans sent us one of their Ambassadors. So what? Does it mean we're allied? No it doesn't - and I never said that. Nice try fool LOL!
It is convenient that Poland was going to wipe Indo, so it was obviously a mistake to block their approach regardless of the timeframe, but possibly made worse by blaming it on their communication - i'm no expert on diplomacy but it's probably not a good idea to persist with that excuse.
The better idea was for the Flatty Government to respond to concerns during the CP campaign and not engage in an open-ended strategy with no exit and dumping us into a war they had no intention to finish. Then again Flatty has never been known to be the responsible type.
Nice try Mick. Poland's attack was under your watch, and you failed. Then again if you're waiting for the eUSA (who is our enemy) http://prntscr.com/1ycgxv to let you know what's going on, this was always to be expected.
